Pain engulfed my body causing me to stagger forward.

“Nat? Are you alright?” Nate called out, as Amanda ripped into Luke.

Alarmed voices warped into a distant hum and time began to slow, leaving me swaying in a woozy haze.

“Blue!” Luke roared.

Fear laced my pain as I slowly turned to his nearing voice. He ran, but it was too late.

I crumpled to the ground, falling into nothingness.
