“I’ve never had a daddy before. Everyone at school has one, but I think it would be best if I have four.” My heart stops beating.

Olivia looks at me. “Every King has a princess, right?” she asks, her eyes full of hope. “My mom is your queen, so can I be your princess?”

Unlike my butterfly, I don’t try to hide the tears that fill my eyes and roll down my cheeks.

Today is the best day of my fucking life.

“Yes, you can be my princess.” She smiles widely at my answer, looking toward my brothers, who have matching tearful expressions as I do, Eli included.

“Will you all be my dads?”

I’ve never seen the bastard cry, but I can see the sparkling tears in his eyes.

“Fuck yes, I’ll be your dad!” Ace shouts, jumping up from his seat.

“Hell yeah.” Rowen stands, walking toward Olivia.

Eli stands and reaches her first. Kneeling in front of her, he takes her in his arms and hugs her lovingly. “We’re your family, kid. We’ll all four be your dads.”

“Group hug!” Lee says with a giggle, all of us quickly squeezing together to join in on hugging our girl.

Our daughter.

I knew the day my butterfly entered my life, I’d never be the same.

I found my purpose in life.

My heart is bigger than ever. It's full of love for my family.

ELI

It’s beensix months since the day in the kitchen when Olivia asked my brothers and me to be her dads and asked to call Lee her mom.

Immediately after, Ace filed whatever paperwork online to change Olivia’s last name, and Lee even asked to change hers as well.

They both took our last name, officially becoming a Hale.

Ace didn’t want to feel left out, so he even took on our last name, not wanting any ties to his family and wanting to be forever a part of ours. And just like that, our family of six was complete.

My girls became mine forever.

Olivia Elizabeth Hale.

Lee Spencer Hale.

My woman, and my daughter.

Daughter.I have a daughter. Sometimes it feels odd saying that, but I’m filled with more gratitude than I’ve ever felt in all my life. For the first time, I’m genuinely happy.

The Triad officially ended all drug dealings a few months ago, and we allowed the Westside Disciples to take over the trade. They kept up their end of our deal and cleaned up our city while my brothers and I got our London office of Hale Enterprises up and running. We've been testing it for months by supplying firearms to the Westside Disciple and the South Lords, but now we're officially supplying everyone within a six-state radius.

We receive firearms from overseas and distribute them here. We’ve nearly tripled our income, earning more than ever when we were involved with drugs.

I don’t miss my ruthless days when all I cared about was bloodshed. I’m not that person anymore, and I like my life. I love it.

I never thought the domesticated life was for me, but it sure as fuck is.
