"The worst doc. I woke up, and it feels like my eyeballs are trying to pop out of my skull." I'm not sure if this guy took some medical classes or what, but he's saying all the right things that would get a doctor up in arms.
"Is it just your eyes, or is it anything else?"
"Yeah, my teeth, I feel like they're poking through my jaw." The man says, grumbling in pain.
I worry when Dr. Dracos walks over to the other side of the room and goes into the small under counter cabinet to pull something out.
He opens a package without me seeing what he's doing and brings something back with him to sit back in front of the patient.
"Anything else?"
"Yeah... I'm so hungry..." The kid lets out a phony growl and pulls his hands down to show a face full of fur and canines protruding out over his bottom lip like a wolf.
I'm a little disappointed when Dr. Dracos doesn't react at all.
"Ahh, I see the problem. Yes, well, you’ll get lock jaw like that for sure. No wonder you have a headache. We're going to need to extricate the problem." He sighs and both me and the kid tilt our heads confused.
"Extricate" the kid says.
"Why yes, of course, the teeth need to come out..." He raises his hand lifting the biggest pair of forceps we have in the room up to show the boy who goes still, "No anesthesia available, unfortunately. Nurse Thimble, lock the door please, this one seems like he'll run."
"What!" The kid jumps up ... "Holy fuck, nope! I'm fine! Y'all are weird" He races out of the room like his ass is on fire. I nearly pee my pants when Dr. Dracos calls out behind him, "Trick or treat!"
I can't hold back any longer, I collapse against the edge of the sink and break down in hysterics. When I look up, Dr. Dracos is laughing too. Booming stomach laughs. His dark hair falling down in front of his face as he leans over slightly to hold his ribs. The dark eyes I'm used to glaring at people are now squinting, and his pearly white teeth are on full display.
He's laughing?
No, this isn't Dr. Dracos, this is Nic... and he's sexy as fuck.
"That's no fair, you cheated." I say, and he tries to compose himself while he puts the tools away.
"Like you'd close out the day without trying to get me one more time. It was easy to figure out you had one more up your sleeve. All the nurses are still here." he says, and I clean up the mess we made and take a few breaths.
Once that's done I turn back to look at him, "Okay, that's it. You have my word. It's over now."
"Oh no, Nurse Thimble." he stalks toward me and I back up into the wall. He's closer than he's ever been to me on purpose, and my body knows. I try to shake off the sudden spike of lust, but all the laughing and adrenaline rushing through my body makes it difficult.
"I'm a woman, and he's a man. It's been way too long since I've gotten laid. That's why your panties are wet right now. That's all. Purely biological."
I tell myself, even though I can't stop looking at that mischievous glint in his eyes.
He tilts his head, giving me a clear look at the side of his neck and the angle of his jaw, "I can't say I like being the butt of a joke."
I shrug and give him a smirk, "But you make it so easy."
"Is that so? I'm here to work and to care for patients, but I'm not one to back down from a challenge. As long as you can ensure this doesn't affect the patient's care, I can give as good I get. You want to play, let's play." His voice is low, dangerous and calling to a deeper part of me.
Inside, I'm screaming for him to take me anywhere and show me just how good he can give it, but I force that down.
The man just threw down the damn gauntlet. I might have just released a monster, but I'm confident I can tame this beast.

Who knew actinglike a juvenile could be so relaxing.
I'll admit after the first prank I was pissed that she was wasting patient time, but once I noticed that everything was already taken care of, I could appreciate just how much effort and creativity she went into in order to pull off some of those pranks.
