"I think by the time we have information to trade, we should be pretty set on whether or not we can pass that information along."

"True," she said. Molly reached over and squeezed my arm. "I just wanted to say thank you so much for putting in a word for me with Foster and Travis and—”

"Girl, you got this job by yourself. And truth be told, Foster got me the job. So." I shrugged. "But you're welcome."

"I can't believe we're going to be making so much money. And I'm kind of nervous as well."

"Oh? Why?"

"Like who is my boss going to be?"

"What do you mean?"

"Who am I going to be the assistant to?"

"Oh yeah. They're going to announce the placements after the break, right?"

"Yep. I'm really hoping it's going to be that cool guy Eric or that one lady. What was her name?"

"Margaret?" I asked.

"Oh hell no. She looked like a bitch." I giggled. Margaret had looked like a bitch. "What was the other girl's name?"

"Carrie?"

"Oh yeah. Yeah. Cool. So tell me exactly what's going on with you and Foster?"

"What do you mean?" I said quickly.

"I mean, when we all went to meet him, he was giving you dove eyes, and you were blushing and..."

"Oh," I said. "I mean." I bit down on my lower lip. "We're kind of in a relationship now."

"What?" She looked shocked. "Really?"

"Yeah, he's wooing me?"

"Wooing you? What is this, the fifties?"

"I know." I laughed. "But he wanted to do it right, he said, and it's been quite nice."

"So you guys aren't bow-chicka-bow-wowing?"

"No, which is really weird because obviously, we've already had sex, and it was amazing. And we both want each other really badly, but we've been really good."

"Wow." She looked shocked. "And how long are you keeping this up? Don't tell me until you get married."

"No." I laughed. "Not at all. In fact, I was thinking maybe this weekend."

"Oh okay. Cool. So that's really awesome that you guys are together now. Are you official?"

"Um, I guess." I shrugged. "We haven't really put a label on us, but he's told me he loved me, and I told him I loved him and..."

"Whoa, you told each other you love each other?"

"Well, I've loved him for ages, and I guess he's had feelings for me, and..." I shrugged. "It's all a bit topsy-turvy and inside out, but it works for us. You know?"

"That’s so sweet." She nodded. "You're so lucky to have met a guy like him. I know I always went on about how handsome he is, but he's a really good guy as well."
