“Right, shall we go and get ready and go shopping?” I smiled as I dragged them back to the suite.

“You owe us both an orgasm or three before we go anywhere,” Ivy whispered with a giggle as she closed and locked the door, and I knew we wouldn’t be going anywhere for a while.

Chapter 18

Grayson

You,“Haveyoufoundsomethingyou like, firefly?”

“I have, but I’ve seen the price tag, and it’s too much, Grayson.”

“Please, Ivy. I have more money than I know what to do with and I’ve never had fun spending it. Let me do this for you. Take it as the gift it’s meant to be. Anyway, it’s my fault you need a fancy dress so you can at least let me pay for it. You need shoes and underwear as well, so make sure you get the lot, but I promise not to peek until we get back to the hotel.”

“Fine, but only because you’re making me, and I don’t want to embarrass you in front of your family.”

“You could wear a sack and still be the most beautiful woman in the world,” I whispered against the curtain of the changing room that separated us, not worried about anyone hearing as Ed had cleared everyone out of the small boutique before we stepped inside.

“Gray, did you order something to be delivered here? There’s some man at the shop door telling me he has something for you,” Ed called from the front door of the shop.

“Yep, on my way.”

I found the shop owner and asked her to help Ivy choose whatever else she needed, and then I checked Ethan had his suit sorted before I walked to the front of the shop to find an older man standing in the doorway with Ed glaring at him.

“Ed, it’s fine. Thank you.” Turning to the man, he held out a large black bag tied with a black bow.

“Mr. Hill, your order. Custom made as you requested. We hope they meet your requirements. If we can help in any other way, you have our number.”

I took the bag and smiled, nodding before Ed showed him back outside just as his phone rang.

He answered, listening to whoever was on the other end. “Okay, drive around the block and I will bring them out now.”

“Trouble?”

“Press across the street. Quite the crowd. We need to go. The car will be here in a second. We can leave Ivy and Ethan here, and I will send someone to pick them up.”

My hand was around his throat before I knew what I was doing, forcing his back against the door. “Don’t ever mention leaving them again. Do you fucking hear me? Their safety is as important as mine, if not more. If I hear you talk about them like they don’t matter, you’re fired. Got it?

He pushed me off slowly. He could flatten me in a second, but it was more than his job's worth.

“I was suggesting it for their safety, Gray. I can’t protect all three of you.”

“Then your job when we get back is to find me someone to take care of them. Understand?”

“Understood, but right now, we have to move.”

“Ethan, Ivy. We need to leave. Now! Are you both about ready?” The shop assistant handed me the card terminal so I could pay, and they both walked from their separate changing rooms with their outfits bagged up, hidden from sight.

“Right, Gray, I’ll take you to the car and then come back for—”

“Seriously, Ed. Did you not hear me before?” I yelled. “You will take them, and you will make sure they’re safe. If you can’t come back for me, then leave and I will call Addi to send Matt.”

“Gray?” Ethan questioned, looking out of the shop front at the growing crowd, people now pressed up against the glass, hammering and screaming as they tried to find me in the shop.

“Ethan, I need you to take Ivy. Don’t let go of her. Get in the car. Now.”

“I—”

“For fuck’s sake, Ethan. Now is not the time to argue with me. Do it. Keep your heads down and get in that car.” He nodded, taking Ivy by the hand, and striding towards the door. Outside, our driver was already out of the car, opening the back door for them. Ed followed closely behind Ivy, spreading his body wide to try to keep the crowd from her. Flashes exploded around them as the press tried to take their photo, probably curious about who they both were to me. I watched as they stepped into the car and Ed turned back for me. I pulled my cap from my back pocket and pushed on my shades, tightening my grip around the bag in my hand as I stepped out to meet him.
