“If it makes you happy, then, of course we can, Angel. We need somewhere to bring the kids when the UK gets too cold. We’ll start looking around tomorrow.” She moved from her seat to sit in his lap, and they started making out in front of us all.

“Don’t you two ever get bored of fucking,” Gray asked as he rolled his eyes.

“Never,” Emmy mumbled against Tanner’s lips.

I glanced over at Matt, desperate to get him to myself, but not wanting to bring an end to a night they’d all put so much time and effort into. As ever, he seemed to sense what I was feeling.

“You ready to go, Rogue?”

I nodded, biting down on my lip, the pearls of my thong still driving me wild.

“Okay, you fuckers. My wife and I are going on our honeymoon. We are off the grid for two weeks, so unless it’s a medical emergency, we don’t want to hear from any of you.”

Matt held out his hand and once I’d stood, he scooped me up, wrapping me around his waist, grabbing my ass.

“I mean it, no contact unless you want me to kick your asses. But seriously, thank you all for being here and being part of this.”

“I need to say bye to everyone.”

“I’m not putting you down.”

“Fine, but carry me around so I can give everyone a hug.”

“You two are so sweet,” Mum announced, as I leaned over and hugged her.

“Welcome to the family, Matt,” my dad offered, hugging us both, not batting an eyelid that I was wrapped around the waist of my new husband.

“When you get home, come stay with us while you find a house. We’d love to have you both all to ourselves for a while,” Mum offered.

Mav coughed. “Erm, I still live with you, remember?”

“Shush sweetie. You’ll be somewhere with your new mystery woman.”

“I don’t have a mystery woman.” I watched with interest as his eyes flashed to meet Addi’s, who was furiously drumming her fingers on the table.

Matt and I hugged and kissed everyone else, listening to them congratulate us.

“I need to get you out of here, wife,” Matt whispered in my ear.

“Love you guys. We’ll see you all in two weeks,” I shouted as Matt strode from the restaurant towards the waiting car.

Lowering me down, I slipped inside, tapping the seat next to me, desperate to get my hands on him. Once he was seated, he leaned over, clipping my belt into place, skimming his mouth over the sensitive spot behind my ear.

“There’s no security screen in this car and I don’t want our first time together now we’re married to be a quickie on the backseat. Can you be a good girl and hang on till we get back to the house?”

I groaned loudly. “These pearls are killing me.”

“They hurt.”

“No. I’m just so close.”

“Hold on for me and I promise I will make it worth it as soon as we’re home.”

“Yes, sir.”

“I want to kiss you so badly,” he groaned against my neck.

“Nope, I will fall apart. Hold my hand like a respectable husband.”
