“Cut the crap, Eden,” Hannah said. “Truth or Dare, or I pick for you.”
“Fine. Dare.”
“I have a feeling I’m going to need to cover my ears for this,” Tasha said, pivoting and walking away.
Angel sniggered, and Hannah crossed her arms while smirking at Eden.
“Dare it is,” the curly blonde almost purred. “I heard Ghua stumbled upon an adult toy store a few days ago.”
“You wouldn’t,” Eden whispered, her eyes going wide.
CHAPTERTWENTY-THREE
“I thinkthat’s my cue to say today’s session is done,” Brenna said, already turning away from the group. “See you ladies tomorrow.”
Angel noticed my confusion and moved closer to my side while Eden stared imploringly at Hannah.
“What we have here,” Angel stage-whispered, “is a bet with benefits. Eden’s man, Ghua, loves anything to do with sex, and Hannah’s trying to help Eden broaden her horizons.”
“I think it’s time,” Hannah said with a smirk.
“I’m going to need to go back to being twelve for a year,” Eden said.
“If you can hold out that long after you explain every item in that store to him.”
Eden paled.
“No,” she whispered. “Not that. Mya doesn’t want the fey corrupted.”
“Pfft,” Angel said. “They’re thousands of years old and just discovered females. There’s nothing in that store that they’re not already thinking about.”
Eden shot Hannah a pleading look. “Can I change my answer to Truth?”
“Nope. That ship’s sailed,” Hannah said.
Eden turned to me and made a face. “Wrestling with Hannah is dangerous, especially when there’s betting involved. Definitely start with archery. Much safer.”
I glanced at Brenna, the woman still holding the bow, then the target.
“With a target made of dildos, anal beads, and a fisting hand, I don’t think there will be much left at the adult toy store to discover.”
The soft murmur of nearby fey conversation fell quiet, and all three women stared at me. Angel started howling with laughter about two seconds later. Eden flushed a deep red, and Hannah grinned widely at me.
“You would be correct there, Shelby. But those are the previously owned sex toys that Ghua collected before he met Eden. She and Mya burned them. You know, for sanitary purposes,” Hannah said. “The toy store would have brand new toys that females here could use with their fey if they wanted to.”
“You have a mean streak a mile wide,” Eden said.
“She does,” Angel agreed. “But she’s also the sweetest person you know right now. She’s helping rip off the bandage. Once it’s gone, you’ll be less worried about what Ghua’s thinking at any given moment.”
“Bring me back an anal plug,” Hannah said. “Maybe Merdon will think twice about spanking me when I start moaning.”
“Look at their wonderful faces,” Angel said before laughing so hard she started crying.
I glanced at the fey. Their expressions ranged from confused to stunned.
Eden’s fey came up behind her and set his hands on her shoulders.
“How much of that did you understand?” she asked without looking at him.
