I opened my eyes to look at him.

“No, he was just right. But I’d like a kiss from you now so I know you’re okay with what happened.”

Vorx leaned in and kissed me tenderly, yet with so much emotion that I never wanted to leave his arms.

“I am more than okay with what happened, Shelby,” he said when he pulled away. “You were beautiful to watch.” He kissed my brow. “I hope you never want to leave because I don’t think I will ever be able to let you go.”

“Sweet man,” I said softly.

He kissed me again on the lips, making my heart ache, then eased me to my feet so I could finish washing alone. I wasn’t even a little sore. Everything felt too good for that yet.

Relaxed and smiling to myself as I relived how amazing that had been, I left the shower. My clothes were already in the bathroom, along with Turik, who held a towel.

He dried me carefully between peppering my face with random kisses, and when he reached my breasts, he playfully used his mouth to verify he’d dried them correctly. This time, he didn’t teasingly avoid the nipples but carefully drew them into his mouth, soothing them with his tongue. My core clenched but with less intensity. After he finished leisurely inspecting both of them, he pulled me into his arms.

“I need to hear you say it again. Was I too rough? Does anything hurt?”

“I’ve never felt so good in my life, Turik. I swear.”

He planted a kiss on the tip of my nose.

“Vorx will try to do better.”

“I will do better,” Vorx called from the other room.

“But not today,” Turik called back.

The bathroom door opened.

“Not today,” Vorx agreed. “Go shower. I will care for Shelby.”

Turik gave me another face.

“I want to keep touching you. You better go, or I will kiss you until you beg me to make you scream again.” He shrugged. “I can’t decide which hungers for you more. My cock or tongue?”

Vorx unwedged me from Turik’s hold.

“Both will need to wait. Shelby needs rest first.”

“I don’t know,” I said. “Shelby’s tits are tingling, and she’s thinking another round wouldn’t be the worst idea. She also doesn’t like when you talk about her like she’s not here.”

Turik laughed, a deep, delighted sound.

Vorx picked me up and strode out of the bathroom.

“Does this mean it’s your turn next?” I asked, reaching up to run a finger along his ear.

His gaze pinned me.

“Soon.”

CHAPTERTWENTY-NINE

I lay on the couch, content for the first time in a very long time. Worries about food, safety, the future couldn’t touch me, not with my fey ensuring I had everything I’d ever wanted. Turik rubbed my feet, occasionally running a finger along my arch just to see me twitch and giggle, and Vorx brushed my hair in long, languid strokes.

There wasn’t another place on the planet where I would rather be. A movie played on the TV, but I wasn’t watching it. I was basking in fey affection. Life was, for the first time in my life, perfect.

I sighed gustily and tipped my head back to look at Vorx.
