“Nothing hurts, and that wasn’t too rough,” I said before he could ask.

It’d been deliciously hard and fast. Just what I’d needed.

“Is this like swimming? Do I need to wait an hour before asking to dive in again after my first helping?”

“For now,” Turik said, his hungry gaze taking me in. Based on the way he palmed his hard length, he didn’t seem to mind the view of Vorx still inside of me. Not at all.

I eased off of Vorx, kissed him deeply, and moved to the bathroom. Turik was right behind me and washed my hair while I ran my hands over his water-slicked chest.

When he finished, I convinced him with my mouth that I didn’t need an hour restriction. Vorx came in when I was pinned against the wall screaming my third orgasm for the day, shook his head at Turik, and called him weak.

“I would like to see you resist her mouth on your cock,” Turik said without a hint of offense.

“Challenge accepted,” Vorx said with a grin through the shower door. “Now, let our Shelby down so she can finish washing.”

My legs were weak, and it took a few minutes to clean myself. However, Vorx was still waiting to dry me when I finished. He gazed into my eyes for a long moment, looking like he wanted to say something.

“What is it?” I asked.

He exhaled a content sound and kissed me on the nose.

“Nothing. Get dressed, or you will be late.”

Turik had lunch waiting for me on the counter. A sandwich again.

It didn’t puzzle me how something so simple could be that amazingly delicious. Going without and having too many near-death experiences made every positive aspect of life taste that much better.

“What are you two going to do while I’m pretending to knit?” I asked between bites.

They shared one of their looks again.

“Please don’t tell me you’re going to go back to James and Mary’s. Or Angel’s.”

“No. We wanted to look for more supplies since most of them are going to the new place. Would you feel safe if we left? There will be twenty fey protecting Emily and Hannah’s house.”

“I will feel completely safe in a house full of people surrounded by fey. Go do your part.”

“I askedMerdon if I could start carrying around a set of knitting needles,” Hannah said conversationally. “They’d make handy stab weapons. He told me they would get too slippery, though, so he’s going to come up with something like them but with handles.”

She grinned at my “ew” face.

“You need a healthy hobby,” I said. “Something that doesn’t revolve around fighting and killing.”

“I already have one. It’s called sex.”

Emily shot Hannah a scolding look and glanced at the clock.

“All right,” Emily called over the group’s quiet conversation. “Our time’s up for today. Julie’s group was baking the biscuits for tonight’s community stew pot, so we don’t want to hold them up.”

We started unraveling what we’d done and surrendered our yarn.

This time, my fey were with the group waiting outside when Emily opened the door.

“See you in the morning,” Hannah called.

I waved goodbye and went straight to Turik for a welcoming hug. How could a few hours apart feel like a lifetime? He wrapped his arms around me and placed a kiss on the top of my head. Closing my eyes, I soaked up his warmth and love before pulling back to smile up at him and Vorx, who stood beside him.
