I stiffen, staring at him. “Ourwoman? What does that mean?” I barely manage to squeeze the words out of my suddenly dry throat.
His dark eyes are steady on mine. “You know exactly what I’m saying.”
“But…”. I gulp and take another quick drink, trying to force the words out. “We don’t like each other. I don’t sleep with men, man.”
He throws his head back and laughs. “That is not what I’m talking about, idiot. There’s nothing wrong with that if it’s what you like. Sexual expression is a very personal thing. Everyone has the right to choose their own truth. But I don’t sleep with men either. This is about her. And only her. I love her. You love her.” I open my mouth to protest and he lifts a hand to stop me. “Don’t bother. I know you love her. I also know that she’s pissed as hell at you because you’ve been treating her like shit for years. She’s your sister’s best friend and you’re in love with her so you’ve been pushing her away for years. I know exactly what’s been going on.”
I sigh and lean back, setting my beer down on the end table beside my couch. My eyes close and my chest aches when I think about the hurt in her beautiful dark eyes. “I thought I was doing what was best for her.”
“Fine. You made a mistake. We both know it. But I think I have an idea of how to make this right. How to give all of us what we need. What we’re hungry for.”
Keeping my eyes closed, I wave my hand in the air. “Tell me what you want me to do.”
“Have you ever heard of Club Sin?”
Eyes flying open, I growl and sit straight up. “Are youinsane?” I yell. “Are you seriously thinking of taking that little innocent to a sex club?”
He waves his hands and stands up to stalk around the room. “Whoa, whoa! I’m talking about with us. And only with us. Well, us and one other man.”
“Only us?”
“Yes, I am going to get a room for all of us and make sure that my little love gets what she’s been dreaming about. That she has a night that she’ll never forget. A night to make her fall in love with me…”.
I open my mouth.“What about…”
“Yes, we will try and get her to fall in love with all of us.”
“But how does that work? What kind of future will that be with all of us in love with the same woman?”
“Are you a jealous man who can’t share?” He asks.
“No. I’ve actually had sex with another couple before but it’s been a long time. And it was mainly a fantasy of hers. I didn’t care but my friend asked me.”
“Did it make you uncomfortable?”
“No. It was all about her pleasure. Had nothing to do with the two of us.”
“Exactly. This is all about Devin’s pleasure. Whatever makes her feel good makes me feel good and I assume the same is for you.”
“Of course. All I’ve ever wanted is to see her writhing under me, pleasure all over her beautiful face. I’ve dreamed about it for years.”
“Good.” He stands in front of me. He holds out a hand and I take it warily, still not sure we’re doing the right thing. “Trust me. This will work. We’ll both get what we want and Devin will love it.”
I nod and stand, following him to the door. “And us.”
He slips out of the door and nods at me. “Hopefully. That’s the plan.”
“What about the other guy?”
“I don’t know anyone offhand but it has to be someone that I can trust.”
“I might know someone. I met him when I worked for his family but he left the business. Just moved in across the hall from me.”
He shoots me a speculative look. “You don’t know him that well?”
“No. But he seems like a good guy. His family? Not so much. But he’s different than them. That’s why he left the family business to run a restaurant. He has a lot more morals and scruples than his family does.”
“How do you think he’d take to this idea?”
