JAMESON

"You're doing it wrong," Hanna argues, placing her hand on her hip.

I cock my brow, dropping the spoon into the bowl, "Oh yeah? how about you do it yourself then!"

She pushes by me, her shoulder banging against my chest, "I will!"

I pick up the bag of flour, tossing its contents at her causing her jaw to drop to the floor and a cloud of white to fill the air.

"You did not just do that," She grits, picking up an egg out of the carton, smashing it against my chest.

I dart around the counter, putting a few barstools between us, "Truce, truce!"

"Ha!" She rolls her eyes, "You knew you were doing it wrong."

I smile, "Yeah, I did. I like to make you mad. It's sexy."

She huffs, "You're insatiable."

I step back, lifting her to the counter, situating myself between her thighs, "I'm in… what?" I laugh, "Sounds sexual."

"My point is totally proven," she rolls her eyes, looking at the mess, "We have to finish all this stuff for the bake sale."

Ellie chuckles from behind us, her eyes widening at the mess on the counter and the floor, "What happened?"

"Your mom thought she could beat me in a food fight," I smirk, Hanna pushing my arm.

"Mom, you lost. You are way messier than dad."

I laugh, picking Ellie up, plopping her down on the counter beside Hanna.

"So girls, after we clean this mess up, what do you want to do?" I ask.

Ellie's eyes light up, "All of us?"

My heart stalls, "Yeah, nerd."

Her smile spreads, one teeny tooth missing on the bottom. I dip my finger in the brownie batter, popping it right on the end of her nose. Her eyes turn dark before picking the entire mixing bowl up and tossing its contents all over me.

This means war.

It took three hours to finish baking and clean my kitchen. Pretty much ruining any plans for the day because now it's nearly dinner time.

Do I regret it? Fuck no.

We all take showers and clean up, and Hanna's phone goes wild with text messages.

She shakes her head, smirking.

"What?" I ask, sitting down next to her on the edge of my bed.

"She agreed," her smile widens, nearly taking my breath away.

"Quit being so cryptic."

She jumps up, twirling, "Sorry, the studio where Ellie takes dance was looking for a teacher, and one of my students is perfect for the job. She's amazing. I've never seen anyone move like her. I caught her dancing one day after school in the old gym."

"What the fuck were you doing creeping around at that place? You know it's not safe over there."
