At least, I don't think so. I think to myself.

His lips are on mine as quick as I can get the words out. They're greedy and not what I usually get from him. It's a massive turn-on, him needing me, wanting me. How he kisses me like he might never get another chance. I lace my fingers into his dark hair, pulling him into me, daring him to try and pull away. His tongue brushes mine, his hands grip the hem of my shirt in his fists, yanking it effortlessly over my head.

His eyes rake over my torso, not looking but admiring. He's always looked at me this way. Like no one could compare, like no one else even exists. It does wonders for a girl who has always felt like the thicker girl, the one who always watched everything she ate to remain under a certain threshold of what her mother considered too big.

"You're so beautiful," He whispers, dragging his knuckles between my breasts, reaching around to unhook my bra. "So fucking beautiful."

I reconnect our lips, frantically pulling his scrub top over his head, only parting long enough for it to slip between us. He continues to claim me with his mouth, lifting me up, my legs wrapping tightly around his waist. He carries me through the hallway, my back slamming forcefully into the wall as he searches for the door handle in the dark, refusing to stop kissing me.

He tosses me onto my bed, pushing his baby blue pants down his legs, his length springing free, catching my attention. I sit upon my elbows to get a better look as he undoes the button on my slacks, pulling them and my panties off in one tug. He positions himself between my legs, my center so slick and desperate for him as he rubs my folds.

I whimper uncontrollably as he pushes himself inside, filling me all the way up in one thrust. He lets out a ragged groan, "Damn, I've missed you."

"Me too," I exhale, "Now shut up and kiss me."

"Always so eager."

I let out a giggle as he continues his perfect rhythm, sending me over the edge. Him following quickly behind me. The stars behind my eyelids creating the most beautiful constellation I've ever witnessed. I snuggle into his shoulder as we both drift.

I wake to the sound of Eric in the kitchen, his deep voice singing along with George Strait. My heart completely melting into a puddle on the floor. A hot doctor with the voice of a country god? Yes, please! I most definitely check yes.

"What are you doing?" I question, surveying the entire counter covered in food, my eyes widening at the mess.

His brow twists as he motions to all the food, "Making breakfast, duh."

I laugh, pulling my bare legs up into the chair, yanking my sweatshirt down over them. "You realize it's just you and me, right?"

"I got a little carried away, huh?" He smiles, placing a plate of strawberry topped waffles in front of me.

"Maybe a little, George," I tease, "Ellie would be in heaven."

His face lights up at the sound of her name, "She so would."

My phone rings on the counter, Eric's eyes falling to the screen before holding it up, "It's your mother."

"Shit."

He raises his brow, "Don't want to talk?"

I roll my eyes at him and yank the phone from his palm, "Hey, mama."

"Hey sweet pea, just wanted to check-in. Adam is really missing you guys."

"We're good. Hanging in there."

"Honey, I wish you guys would just move back. How is Ellison? I hope you haven't let her turn into a complete train wreck. She still minds her manners?"

"Yes, mother, she's still as well mannered as ever, funny too."

"Oh yes, the comedian. I haven't forgotten."

I sigh, "She's a child, mom. She's allowed to laugh and play."

She goes silent on the other end of the line, "You sound like your father."

"How's daddy? I need to get down there and visit at least. I've hardly seen him this summer."

She scoffs, "Good to know who your favorite is."
