She couldn’t pull her gaze from the man sitting next to her. It was like magnetic energy drew her toward him, and it was so powerful that it scared her.

Roman placed his huge hand over hers that lay on the table. “Don’t be afraid. No one will hurt you here.”

“How did you know I was afraid?”

“I sme—saw it in your eyes.”

“It’s just… I’m not sure what’s happening, but it’s unlike anything I’ve experienced before.” A shiver raced down her spine, and her pussy cream was sliding out of her and wetting her panties and her jeans. She’d never had this overwhelming desire for a man before. It was easy to do because the guy was gorgeous with his black hair, brown eyes, and a body that women would drool over.

His thumb started caressing the back of her hand, and his touch made the almost unbearable sensations grow inside of her.

“Here you go, Alpha,” Fiona said as she set three plates down in front of them.

“Alpha?” Brenna asked. She caught the look between thethree. “Tell me.”

Roman caressed her cheek with his thumb. “Let’s eat first, and then I’ll explain everything after breakfast.”

Saliva pooled in her mouth, and she could feel tremors shake her limbs just from the small contact with his skin.

“Eat, pet. We’ll talk.”

She nodded, dug into her toast and bacon, and moaned. It was the best breakfast she’d ever had.

The men stopped moving and stared at her. “What?” she asked.

Roman’s gaze lowered to her lips. “You moaned.”

The way he growled made her think he didn’t like it or found it offensive. “Oh, I’m sorry.”

“No. It’s good.”

She nodded and went back to eating. She stuffed the last bite in her mouth and stared down at her plate in shock.

“What?” Roman asked.

“I’ve never eaten this much at one sitting.”

“You must have needed it.”

She nodded and sipped her coffee. She’d eaten all that food and didn’t have a stomachache like she always did if she overate.

“Did you leave your things at the motel?” Hunter asked.

She shook her head. “No, everything’s packed into the car.”

“Good. Roman’s going to drive you out to our house.”

“No, I couldn’t impose,” she said to Roman. The space between them seemed to keep shrinking, and she didn’t know if it was her or him.

“It’s not. We’ll deal with all your questions at home.”

“Okay.” God, where was her sense? She didn’t even know this man, and she was ready to follow him home.

Something inside of her sensed she could trust him, and,in fact, he was the one who would protect her the most.

Roman stood, threw some money down, and took her hand, and it felt like the most natural thing in the world.

“I’ll have someone bring your truck home,” Hunter said. “And I’ll see you later.”
