Jack stared down at me. “If you don’t pick up the pace, Lou, I’m gonna throw you over my shoulder.”
Ah, challenge accepted. I stopped moving.

I pressed my hands to my waist. “You wouldn’t dare!”
He fucking did.Before I knew it, I was hanging upside down, and all I could see was Jack’s fit ass clad in brown corduroy. I squeezed his butt cheeks, and it resulted in him spanking mine. “Two can play that game, pretty girl.”
“Put me down. I want to see the fireworks,” I demanded.
“You promise to behave?”
“Absolutely not.”
“Where’s the fun in behaving?” Sienna asked.
“You see? Sin has the right idea.”
Augustus shook his head at us. “You two are like partners in crime.”
“Not like. Are.” Ruben pushed his glasses up his nose and pinched Sienna’s nose.
“You wouldn’t have us any other way, Ruben.”
He jabbed a finger in my direction. “I hate it when you’re right.”
“All right.” Jack set me back on the ground and kissed me silly.
I smiled against his lips. “What’s this for?”
“Because it’s New Year, and I can.” He kissed me again, and my arms wrapped around his body.
Eric slapped Jack’s shoulder. “You’re cheating the clock there, man.”
“I don’t care,” Jack mumbled.
“Less than one minute,” Cruz shouted at the top of his voice.
Augustus looked at his clock. “Thirty seconds!”
“Twenty,” Sienna shouted.
“Ten, nine, eight…”
Jack and I continued to kiss as the crowd counted down. We finally broke away as they reached one.
“Happy New Year!”
Everyone screamed the sentiment at the top of their lungs, and the first firework shot into the air.
“Happy New Year, Louisa.” Byron pecked my cheek.
I turned my face, so my lips brushed his. “Happy New Year, By.”
I kissed and snuggled with each of my men, and Sienna did the same with her guys, minus Jeremy, who was in the thick of firework alley with the cracker guy. I glanced over at her and watched her making out with Cruz. I quickly averted my gaze when Ruben looked at me.
Tate pulled me back against him. I felt his beard tickling my ear. “Go and wish her a Happy New Year, Lou.”
