“With me. I’ll ask housekeeping for some cots. There’s just about room for two by the sofas if I share the bed.”

Brecken’s back muscles ripple with power. “With Emily or Betsy, ‘cos it sure as fuck isn’t going to be Justin.”

Winter pulls on his hand in warning. “He’s a friend.”

“A gay friend?” he asks hopefully.

“Not a gay friend.”

A muscle feathers in his jaw. His smoky-blue eyes spit fire.

“Brecken,” she murmurs, a warning there.

“Fine,” he relents, his body powering down. “Are we going to drink some wine and watch our home porno, or what?”

Moody bastard.

But his suggestion makes sense on many levels. One, it’ll be hot, and we might get to relive some of it all over again. Two, Roo put a lot of effort into it, and it’d be rude to not show our appreciation. But the main reason is that watching Winter get fucked senseless by the three of us is the fastest way to reassure him that she is ours, and most importantly, his.

CHAPTERTHIRTEEN

Winter

“Good luck today,”Luca whispers in my ear. I’m held against his chest, the alarm beeping at the ungodly hour. “I wish I could be there for you.”

“Hmm,” I agree, grateful for his continued support. “We’ll call you as soon as we know.”

“Good.” He pecks my nose. “Hopefully, tonight we’ll be celebrating.”

“Fingers crossed.”

Trailing his lips from my nose to my mouth, Luca kisses me, long and slow and treasuring. I love his mouth, his kisses, his tongue, his cock.

I love him.

The revelation of loving someone shouldn’t surprise me. But loving three men, three brothers at the same time, is a situation I’m still coming to terms with.

Luca doesn’t seem to want to get in the shower, so I pull back, grinning, telling him to get a move on. Finally, he rises from the bed and heads for the ensuite. “We’ve got Valentine’s plans this weekend,” he reminds me, stopping at the threshold of the door and hanging off the frame. “You’ll love them,” he murmurs, trying to distract me.

It almost works.

“Can’t wait,” I tell him, not entirely sure what the plan is; the guys are keeping it close to their chests. Pulling on my robe I head for the door. “See you when you get back from Vegas.”

In the tower’s bathroom, I wash away the night, the steam and warm water soothing my overactive mind. With the hearing in front of the judge today, I was too anxious to sleep. There’s a lot at stake. Winning is vital to my self-esteem, but emotionally, I’m heavily invested in this idea.

Deciding on a navy pantsuit Brecken bought me, I choose a blue and white print blouse to go with it.

I only found time to move into the tower a few days ago, though I stayed with my Vail family in my former room when they visited. Brecken behaved himself, but when I introduced him to Justin he stared him down for the first two minutes.

Honestly.

Emily loved the posturing, but then Emily loves everything about my cabin boys which was evident from our Stein Hotel days. Speaking of—Betsy and Emily have been offered new positions, both of them playing a large part in the future of Hotel Balthasar, Vail. I couldn’t be happier for their well-deserved promotions.

Brecken’s in the kitchen when I come down the stairs. The thought of breakfast turns my stomach.

“Toast? A bagel? You need something,” he presses, bringing me in for a hug.

For a long moment I soak up his heat and strength, my mind getting busy again. “What if we don’t win?” I ask, even though I’ve asked this before and his answer will be exactly the same.
