It means their chances of landing me are gone, and Haley doesn’t deserve to deal with it.

My stomach growls as Sean and Da continue to discuss my wardrobe.

Finally, I cut in. “Yes, I wore a bloody black suit. I’d been at the warehouse with Declan the entire day before I went to Haley’s. I knew I wouldn’t have time to change, so I wore the suit in case I got blood on me. Can we all get off with the black suit nonsense? Bloody Christ. You lot are worse than Ma’s women’s club, with your yappy mouths.”

Da shoots Sean a look as he sips his own whiskey. “So temperamental.”

″I get it from you, you old bat.” I laugh as Da taps his nose.

My plan is far from being finished, but we have time to figure it out.

By the time the plane lands in Seattle, we’ve established a rough idea of what we’re going to do. After a letter left stating his crimes, he’ll head off for a fishing trip. His boat will be found abandoned in four or five days, and without a body, it’ll be thought he had a fishing accident.

We just need proof of what he’s done. As I say it out loud, Sean’s already pale complexion goes ghost white. Immediately, I know that whatever he found earlier has to be the reason for his reaction.

The plane begins its descent, and I narrow my eyes while I glare at him. “Tell me what’s got you looking so fucking pale.”

He shakes his head rapidly, covering his mouth with both his hands.

″Don’t make me pull rank.”

″I work for Da, not you.”

I close my eyes, willing myself not to reach across the space between us and strangle Sean. Just three weeks ago, he was telling me how Da wasn’t fit to run shit. And now he’s hiding behind him.

I force a few breaths to calm myself. All of this anger lately can’t be good for my health. “Sean. If you don’t tell me what you’ve found, I will open the emergency exit and toss you out.”

Da doesn’t dare butt in. He sits, watching as Sean contemplates what to do.

Finally, he sighs. “I hacked into his computer and found some photos.”

My ears ring. “What kind of photos?”

″Haley may have been his first, but she wasn’t the last. He’s got tons of photos of girls on here. It’s in an encrypted file. Something I wouldn’t have thought to go looking for.”

″How many others? What type of pictures?”

″Jesus, Cal. What type of photos do you think? Little girls. A dozen, at least. Seems once they age out, he moves on to the next. I didn’t look much.”

″I’m going to be fucking sick,” Da says, leaning forward.

″Okay. We go to his house to pick him up. We force him to sign a confession note of some sort. Then he fucking suffers until we’re sure everyone thinks he’s just disappeared.”

″You have to be careful, Cal. You can’t make him bleed too much.”

″I know.”

The flight attendant appears, advising us we can safely load off the plane, not before brushing her hand against my leg as I stand. Her grip tightens on my thigh, extremely too close to my cock.

I’m across the fucking country about to kidnap my woman’s tormentor while another woman tries to dig her claws into me.

I grab her wrist, yanking her hand off me as I glare at her. My other hand grabs her head, pulling her away. “Don’t fucking touch me again.”

″I-I-I’m sorry, Mr. Murphy.”

Releasing her, I toss a glance to Sean. “Keep her occupied on the ride home, yeah?”

Sean snorts as he closes his laptop. “I don’t want your sloppy seconds.”
