Thefrontdoorbangedshut, sending shivers all through the house. Lorelei looked over the back of the couch, through the living room, to the end of the hall. She couldn’t see the front door from where she was, but she knew Vince was standing in there. She couldn’t hear his feet on the floor, nor could she see him emerging from behind the wall.

Lorelei’s heart began to pound as she thought about what could be wrong. Was it bad news? Had something happened? Was he hurt? She wasn’t going to sit around and wait for him to come to her. Lorelei untangled her legs from the blanket wrapped around her and stormed to the hallway.

There he was, standing with his hand resting on the plain-white wall. His dark hair was tousled, almost ragged, and dark circles surrounded his eyes. Lorelei stared at his pained expression, wondering what the hell had happened to him.

“What is it?” Lorelei breathed.

Vince’s cold, dead eyes looked up to hers instantly. Lorelei could see the wrinkles around them starting to show, exaggerated by his stress.

“Vince,” she begged. “Tell me what happened.”

A long, harrowing sigh came out of his mouth as his eyes searched the hallway. Lorelei didn’t know what was wrong with him, but the way he was acting scared her.

“We need to talk,” he said. “Living room. Sit.”

He didn’t bother to take his coat or shoes off—he just strolled right through the house and crashed down on the couch. Lorelei trailed behind him, her eyes staring at his back as she wondered what on earth was going on with him.

“Please,” Vince said. “Sit.”

Lorelei did as she was told, slipping down into the seat beside him and tucking her hands between her legs.

Vince didn’t start talking straight away, leaving her to imagine all the horrible things that might have happened: Did someone die? Is he dying? Is he okay? Are we okay? Lorelei’s thoughts spun out of control. She couldn’t take it anymore. She lunged forward and grabbed his wrists tightly. “For the love of god,” she said. “Please, just spit it out.”

“I kissed Claire,” Vince said, the words rolling out of his mouth like vomit.

Lorelei felt her whole body relax into the couch, melting into the cushions. She wasn’t sure if it was relief or if it was because she was finally on the road to getting what she wanted. It didn’t matter either way. She’d finally gotten her wish, and that was all that she cared about. She felt herself become one with the couch as she looked up to the ceiling.

“Honey?” Vince asked. “Are you … okay?”

“I’m fine,” Lorelei said, her voice breathy and calm. “Christ, I thought someone had died.”

“But ...” Vince frowned as he struggled to find the right words. “I betrayed you.”

Lorelei looked to her troubled husband and realized she needed to show him it was okay, that she didn’t mind that he’d kissed this teenager. She needed to show him that, in fact, she wanted this to happen. There was only one thing she could do—she wrapped her legs around his waist and straddled him, pressing her butt into his thighs and her stomach against his chest. She grabbed the sides of his face and looked down at him, smiling softly. Leaning down, she planted a soft kiss on his lips.

Vince immediately broke it off and grabbed her hips. “I betrayed you,” he repeated. “I kissed someone else.”

Lorelei continued to smile and hushed him for another kiss. This time, she ditched the gentle, loving feeling and, instead, slipped her tongue into his mouth. As soon as she tasted him, her body started to writhe against his. Vince’s hands grabbed her hips tighter, his fingers digging into her flesh, but she could still feel the confusion in his body. He was hesitant, almost aloof. There was no passion behind his kiss, only worry. Lorelei had to step her game up.

She slid her body down his thighs until she was kneeling on the floor in front of him, her hands pressed against his crotch. With a wicked smile on her lips, she whispered, “Tell me how you kissed her.”

Not waiting for Vince to object to her request, she began to undo his pants. A startled cry came out of his mouth as his whole body tensed, but that wasn’t going to stop her. Lorelei pulled his limp cock out and began to pump it, her hand clasped around the shaft.

“Tell me,” she urged. “Tell me how you kissed that little slut.”

His cock started to grow in her hand and his mouth opened and closed, the confusion setting into his expression. Lorelei looked up at him, pouting and making her eyes big and full of emotion. She wanted this—she needed this—and he had to understand that.

“Tell me,” she whispered, before leaning over and licking the head of his growing penis.

“Oh, fuck,” Vince moaned. “I … I …”

“Tell me,” Lorelei said, letting her tongue lap against his salty skin. “Tell me what happened.”

Vince’s body finally started to relax and words began pouring out of his mouth, “She came to the restaurant,” he said softly. “She wanted to see me. I said no—”

His shaft was pulsing in her hand, growing bigger by the second, hard enough for her to slide into her mouth. After slipping her body between his legs and leaning down over it, that’s exactly what she did. His hands hovered around the back of her head. Lorelei knew she had to show him she was serious, so she took him into the back of her throat. Vince moaned loudly and threw his head back. Lorelei moved her head up and down, shoving Vince’s hardness to the back of her throat over and over.

She pulled him out of her mouth and looked up at him. “Tell me.”
