One of the women holding Vince cleared her throat, drawing the attention of the group. They all turned to stare.

“What’s this?” the blonde woman asked, looking over her thick-rimmed glasses at Vince. “Why is there a man in here?”

A few of the women gasped. Vince felt his muscles tighten under the women’s grasp, desperate to get out of their grip. He wanted to bash their heads in and bring this whole operation to an end. But first, he needed his wife.

“We found him in the building,” the guard to his right said.

Vince looked up at her, her red hair fell around her masculine face. A beautiful image appeared in his mind, one where he lunged forward and headbutted her into oblivion.

“Where in the building?” the blonde asked forcefully.

She turned around, revealing large breasts beneath the white lab-coat. As far as Vince could see, she wasn’t wearing anything underneath. The coat barely covered her cleavage, her breasts almost popping out of the material.

“Upper levels,” the guard said.

“So, he broke through security?” the blonde asked.

She walked toward him, striding seductively, before shoving her hands into his pants pockets. Her fingers were trying to find the ID card he’d stolen, instead, all she got was a handful of his cock and balls.

She stepped away, frowning. “Lock down the building,” she said. “We've got another intruder somewhere.”

A couple of the coats rushed away to send the building into lockdown. Their absence revealed people he hadn’t noticed.

Claire and Paige were standing next to one another, clinging to each other for dear life. Claire’s long, golden-brown hair was a tangled mess and her eyes were red and swollen from crying. Paige’s eyes were clamped closed, her head down as fat tears rolled down her cheeks.

Movement caught Vince’s attention. A shaking head. He glanced away from the girls and saw Kate standing off to the side, her dark-blue eyes wide and staring at him. She continued shaking her head slowly, refusing to look away from him.

“You have my wife,” Vince spat, trying to lunge toward the blonde woman.

The guards clenched their hands down on his arms, refusing to let him go.

“That’s why I came here,” he shouted, “to get her back and beat you into a fucking pulp.”

The blonde woman smiled, her lips like prunes smashed together. “Let him go,” she said to the guards, nodding gently.

Finally, their fingers slipped away from his body. Vince stood up straight and looked at the blonde woman, trying to be as menacing as possible.

“You’ve just made a terrible mistake,” he said.

“Oh, no, you’re the one who’s made a mistake. If a man is going to beat a woman, he doesn’t threaten it first. He just does it. You won’t hurt me.” She looked behind him, to the guards. “You may leave us.”

Vince looked to Claire and Paige, who were still cowering and crying. “Now it’s you who’s screwed up,” Vince said slowly. “Four against one.”

The blonde woman frowned. She whirled around to face Kate.

Kate smashed the woman over the head with a metal bar.

The sound of the metal knocking against her skull echoed around the room. Vince winced and stepped aside, watching as her body careened to the floor. She dropped down with a loud, heavy thud. Vince stared at her unconscious body for a moment, wondering what kind of evil flowed through her to put her in such a position.

“Come on,” Kate said, grabbing for Vince’s arm. “Let’s go. Now.”

“Where’s Lorelei?” Vince asked, snatching his arm away from Kate’s grasp. “I’m not going anywhere without her.”

“She’s not in here,” Kate said. “She’s downstairs. “We’ll get her on the way.”

For a moment he considered going with them. He longed to see his wife, to see how bad she was, but he knew Kate would be able to collect her without him. He needed to grab Dino, before the cops stormed the place and assumed he was part of the operation. “You get her,” Vince said. “And call the cops on the way. I need to get Dino.”

As he moved away from the group, he heard a sniffle then a long, aching wail.
