“Aaron?” Marshall’s harsh whisper had Aaron freezing.

“Fuck! Don’t stop.” Marshall flexed his hips, urging Aaron to move. “Stop treating me like a fragile virgin. Just fuck me, for fuck’s sake!”

“Is this what you want?” Aaron asked, withdrawing until he was almost completely out before slamming back in with one powerful thrust.

“Yes,” Marshall moaned. “Again.”

Once he started, Aaron couldn’t stop. He lost himself in the sensation of the hot, wet slide and Marshall writhing and moaning below him. His skin prickled with heat, and he broke out in a light sweat. Marshall hitched his leg over Aaron’s hip, changing the angle, and they both gasped as Aaron slid deeper.

Marshall’s knuckles brushed against the sensitive skin of his lower abdomen as he jerked himself, sending ripples through Aaron.

“I’m close,” he rasped as the base of his spine tingled. The pulse point at the base of Marshall’s throat called to him like a beacon on a foggy night. He lapped at the spot, inhaling the heady scent of his mate. Salt burst on his tongue, sending his wolf into raptures.

“Gotta bite. Don’t wanna hurt you, but got to mark you,” he ground out, fighting the urge as best he could. He needed Marshall to be ready.

“Yes. Do it,” Marshall cried. Strong fingers tangled in his hair as Marshall threw his head back, exposing more of his neck. Marshall’s thrusts became erratic as he chased his release. “Now, Aaron. Now!”

At Marshall’s urging, he bit down, his canines extending and breaking the heated skin. His orgasm rocked through him as the coppery tang of Marshall’s blood coated his tongue. He heard a yell of pain and felt the splatter of Marshall’s release as his mate orgasmed. Another wave rolled through him, and he pulled his mouth away as he continued to pound into Marshall’s body.

He could feel another orgasm building, and nothing on earth could have stopped him. His wolf was howling in ecstasy as power surged through them both. A bright light flashed behind his closed eyes, and he felt Marshall stiffen below him, and then they were both coming again.

Chapter 17

Marshallwokewithastart, jolting into awareness. He was sweating, prickly heat racing over his skin. His mouth felt dryer than the Sahara Desert, and his eyes were gritty. He thumbed at them before cautiously cracking them open. Early morning light filtered through the curtains, and the events of last night flooded his brain. Closing them again, he relived the last few hours.

Dinner. Aaron pinning him to the door before dropping to his knees. Safe words. Pleasure. Pleasure like he’d never know. Aaron pounding into him and then biting him. He remembered excruciating pain as Aaron’s teeth had punctured the delicate skin at the juncture of his neck and shoulder. The intensity of his orgasm had quickly overridden the pain. It had been so strong he was sure the earth had moved, and bright lights had flashed.

He did his usual morning top-to-toe inventory. He felt… good. Well, except for the fact he needed the bathroom, and he was sweltering. He reached out for Aaron, wanting to reassure himself that the other man was okay. He froze as his fingers met soft fur rather than warm skin.

He opened his eyes and looked to his left. Lying beside him was a wolf. A beautiful dark gray wolf whose ears twitched as Marshall ran his hand over his head and down his flank. Well, that explained why he was so warm.

“Aaron?” he whispered and then chuckled to himself.Who else was it going to be?Amber eyes met his, and he smiled.

“Well, this is different,” he commented as he continued to stroke Aaron’s side.

Ears twitched, and the wolf sniffed at Marshall’s side before suddenly sitting up.

“Aaron? Are you okay?”

The response he got was a wet nose nudging at his jaw. Marshall obliged and tilted his head, allowing the wolf to sniff and scent him. He hesitantly rested his hand on the wolf’s neck. He could feel him vibrating under his hand, and he gave him a soothing stroke.

The wolf whined, and Marshall realized what was wrong. He clasped the wolf’s head in his hands and placed a delicate kiss on his forehead.

“I’m fine. I promise. I feel good. Like fantastically good.”

He got a swipe of wet tongue up his face in reply. Marshall laughed and pushed him away. “I see we need to have a discussion about boundaries.”

The wolf—Aaron? Marshall wasn’t sure how to think of him in this form—gave an excited yip before spinning once. He dropped onto his haunches before throwing his head back and howling.

Goosebumps raced over Marshall’s skin as a pulse of energy went through him. “What the hell was that?”

Aaron tilted his head, looking like a cute puppy. Not that Marshall would ever tell him that. He took a second to check nothing else was going on with his body before sliding from the bed. A growl had him pausing.

“Just going to the bathroom,” he reassured the glowering wolf. He got a huff in return, and he grinned as the wolf settled his head on his paws.

After using the facilities, he washed his face and brushed his teeth. He took in his reflection and was taken aback. His skin was glowing? He leaned closer to the mirror. No, not really glowing, but he looked healthy. His eyes were clear, and there were no shadows below them, making him look drawn. He tilted his head and looked at where Aaron had bitten him. The area was a very faint pink, and he ran a finger over it gingerly. There was no pain, only the sensation of a healing bruise. He could make out faint puncture marks, but they too were very pale, like a well-healed scar.

The door nudged open, and he turned to find Aaron’s wolf staring at him, head tilted in query.
