He pulls me into him. Heat flares through me as soon as I hit his body.
He cups the back of my head. “You mean now that you belong to me?”
My breath catches. I desperately want him to kiss me, but he only gazes at my lips.
“How come you get real clothes and I’m in this?” I ask with pretend anger.
He raises a brow. “It’s more than you’ve had on most of our time together.”
My face grows hot. “Yeah, well, I’m ready to put on some nice clothes and have a super fancy meal to celebrate being alive.”
His hand moves from the back of my head to my jaw. “Still a princess.”
I suppress a smile. “You wanna do something about it?”
He pins me with his stare. “You bet I do.”
I look about the uninspiring room with its hospital bed, monitors, and IVs. “Not here?”
“I think we pay another visit to The Lotus.”
I perk up. “Yes! But you know…maybe we could mess around a little here first.”
He shakes his head with a bemused grin. “You have a one-track mind, Casey Callaghan.”
Lowering his head, he claims my mouth. This kiss feels every bit as amazing as the prospect of spending hours submitting to his skills as a Dom. I press my lips hard against his, feeling victorious because it turns out the ‘princess’ is pretty damn good at ensnaring dragons.
