As I was destroyed by climax, Cyburn caught up with me. He pulled out of me, and his hot seed sprayed across my naked chest and tummy.

He groaned and whimpered as he soaked me with his warm cum. When he finished, he pulled out, but his movements went from rambunctious and wild to caring and nurturing.

He catered to my every need. He got a towel and cleaned me up, rubbing the cloth across my naked body with delicateness and a tender smile.

I appreciated how loving he was, and I got lost in the affection behind his black, almond eyes.

“That was amazing as usual,” I said and rested my head against the pillow.

Cyburn joined me and pressed his shoulder to mine. He slipped his hand into mine and squeezed it.

“I needed that,” he confessed.

“I think webothneeded it more than we realized.”

“I’m a lot more relaxed now,” Cyburn admitted.

I sighed and gazed up at the ceiling. I was so comforted and satisfied, wanting to stay cloaked in this fantasy of bliss for as long as it would last. “Me too, darling.”

ChapterTwelve

CARMELA

The days blended into weeks. The weeks turned into months. I couldn’t believe it when I woke up one day and Cyburn had announced we’d officially been on the planet Machinoor for three months. I knew it had been that long — it just didn’t seem real, or official, until he’d confirmed it aloud.

“Wow,” I said and grinned, in a playful mood. “Time flies when you’re having fun.”

“Are you having fun?” Cyburn had gotten a handle on my humor by now and was grinning too.

“Oh yeah.” I laughed. “Tons.”

“It’s better than being on that crowded ship,” he mentioned.

“You’ve got a point there.”

The Belic had not been successful in hunting us down. Machinoor was a remote planet, and wasn’t easy to access, even for the Belic. The constant storms made entering the atmosphere a rather challenging problem. For now, we were safe and secluded here.

The repairs to the Blade, were taking longer than we’d anticipated, but the vessel was our livelihood for space travel. We couldn’t afford to cut corners while fixing it.

Cyburn had been doing much better lately on the mood front, and his excessive drinking had toned down.

I was careful not to bring up the sore spot of Amada, and Cyburn never mentioned her either. We both knew that she had probably died a lonely and slow death out there in the middle of nowhere, floating around in a supply-less and cramped escape pod.

There was nothing we could do about it now. We couldn’t save her from herself, and even as callous as it sounded — I was glad to have her out of the picture. Cyburn couldn’t be himself with her around.

Not that I would wish a horrific death on anyone, not even a rebellious and trite enemy like Amada, but I noticed an exceptional difference in Cyburn’s behavior now that she was no longer around to manipulate and frustrate him.

Cyburn and I were currently taking a break from a long morning of working on the ship. We were having lunch together on a slab of brown sandy, beachfront.

Most of the food we ate here on Machinoor was provided by the locals and consisted of fish and a few nuts and berries.

It was not a very high caloric diet, and I found that after a few weeks, my pants and shirts began to hang a little loose off my shoulders and hips.

We were sitting there eating and chatting when Silver approached us. She was starting to get back to normal, but there were still a few glitches in her programming that I had to work on or fix every now and then. It was just a few kinks to iron out, but her progress was stellar, and it was nice having her back to her usual, sarcastic self.

She stopped in front of us, her eyes glowing with concern.

“I was hoping I could have a moment to speak with you.”
