The door opened before I knocked, my father stood there waiting for me, “Come in Aykiz! ‘’ Z, you may come in as well just sit over there out of the way.”
Yes sir,’’ I'll do just that.
Nodding to my guards my father spoke in a whispered voice, stay outside the door, no one is allowed to interrupt, unless someone is dying.
“Yes, My king! The door closes sealing us in, my heart begins to pound. I'm nervous, what if I screw this up?
“Take a seat Aykiz,” pointing to the furs on the floor, it's almost set up like my mother’s office, one candle is lit with a smell I can’t place.
“Father, what is that smell?”

laughing at Z, my father explained, it's a Sage, dragon blood aids in protection, power and healing.

“Zedkiel everything will be alright. Calm yourself and watch Aykiz become a master of darkness.”
“Take a deep breath Aykiz, close your eyes, meditate, be aware of your surroundings. Visualize the darkness surrounding you.” My hands begin to shake, feeling a presence near me. Fear tingled up my spine, but a dark and twisted feeling of joy surfaced from somewhere in the depths of my soul. My father's voice floated into my consciousness, “Breathe Aykiz, you have nothing to fear. Reach for the darkness, ask it to join you.”
Right, just ask the darkness to join me, like hey! want to join me for a cup of tea?”
Not today my princess’’, A voice spoke in the darkness, looking over to where the voice came from was a figure in the corner of the room. Shocked, I really didn't know what to say, the shadow came close enough for me to see the frame of a woman.
“Who are you? ‘’ I asked.
“I am Amirah.”

Just then I heard my father calling me back to reality. Amirah disappeared like smoke, one min she was there and the next she was gone.
“Aykiz where did you go?”
Nowhere, I was right here. I reached for the darkness like you said.
