“You feel too good, gorgeous. Just a little longer. I need to fuck you a little longer.” Each word is punctuated with a thrust as he slams into me, skin slapping against skin. I might die if I don’t come down soon, the pressure in my core is so intense that I may literally explode. But what a way to go!

“Oh, Nate! Fuuuuck!”

He grits his teeth as he buries himself deep with a bone-grinding pump. “Yes!Delaney! Fuck!” He shudders, and I scream, my entire body tightening and shaking. I honestly don’t know which way is up or down anymore, and I have a feeling security will soon be knocking on our cabin door.

“Holy crap. Holy god. Holy Santa.”

Nate’s hand pushes my hair away from my face. “Holy Santa?” he asks, out of breath but smiling, his skin glistening with a sheen of sweat.

“Yeah. I prayed for a Christmas miracle, and it just came true,” I gasp, smiling up at him because it’s pretty much all I can do.I’m ridiculously happy.

“God, I love you,” he says with a laugh as he gathers me up in his arms and carries me into the bathroom.

“I love you too. And I’m never going to get tired of saying that.”

He nuzzles his nose against mine before he sets me on the ground then switches on the shower. “Me either. I love you, Delaney.”

Grinning, I wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him as he steps us into the shower cubicle, the water sluicing over my exhausted but exhilarated body as we kiss and touch, and get ready to lose ourselves to the pleasure all over again. And as he picks me up and pins me against the tiled wall, entering me with a single thrust, I wonder how I ever lived without this. Nate is my perfect match, sent by the heavens to make my life complete. Now I just have to explain it to my family…

NATE

Delaney dozes in my arms, her soft body pressed into mine as her head rests against my chest. We’ve done nothing today except have sex and order room service. So, it’s been the perfect day. There are about a thousand things to do on this cruise, but I think I’d be happy spending the rest of the ten days right here.Delaney is mine.

It feels like I’ve wanted her my entire life, even though I’ve only known her a short time. Ever since I moved back from LA, I’ve been searching for some sort of direction, a sign I made the right choice. I feel confident in saying my reason for turning my life upside down is asleep in my arms. Perfect and pure, and made just for me. It hits me pretty hard that I don’t have a hell of a lot to offer her—no job, no prospects. All I have is my heart. I hope that’s enough.

“What’s got your brow all furrowed like that?” Delaney asks as she inhales and lifts her head, running a thumb over the creased lines between my eyebrows.

“I need a job.”

She laughs slightly as she leans on my chest and looks at me properly. “That’s what you’re thinking about right now?”

“It is. I don’t have one.”

“Oh,” she says, her expression shifting from amused to puzzled as she rolls onto her back. “Well…what were you planning to do when you left LA?”

“I have no idea. I kind of left on a whim. I was still trying to work out what options I had when Liz spoke to me about you.”

“Oh. Well, I’ll still pay you the rest of the money. We had an agreement and this doesn’t change things,” she says.

“I don’t want you to, gorgeous. Seriously, I’m not here as an actor anymore. I’m here as your boyfriend, the man who loves you. Do not pay me for that.” I meet her eyes, giving her a pointed look.

She blinks quickly. “OK. I won’t.”

“Thank you,” I say, bringing her in close again, my fingers stroking up and down her back as we lie together quietly.

“It doesn’t bother me, you know.”

“Well, it bothers me. A man should work. And I’ve never been out of work before.”

“What are your skills?”

“Acting. That’s literally all I’ve ever done.”

“What about teaching? Have you thought about doing that? You could work in theater, inschools.”

“I don’t know,” I sigh. “But I’ll figure it out. I always do.”

“Do you regret leaving?”
