Arden lifted her head, a gentle smile on her face. “You do?”

“Yeah.” I picked through the clothes on the island—Arden’s old clothes mingled with the brand-new ones we’d bought her.

She moved over some clothes from the top of the stack. “What do you think I should wear?”

I knew exactly what I wanted to see her in, and I found it in seconds. Calling it a dress was a stretch—it was more like a scrap of green fabric, stretchy and small. Anything that made her as naked as that dress would was perfect by my standards. Her eyebrows shot up when I held it in front of her.

“Why am I not surprised?” she asked, tugging on the tie of her robe.

I helped her peel the robe off, revealing her simple bra and panties. Before she got the hooks of her bra undone, I tore it and her panties clean off her body. She tried to glare at me, but she couldn’t hold back her smile.

“I can get dressed on my own, you know.” She pulled the dress over her head.

“But it’s so much more fun when I can rip the clothes off of you.” I checked her out openly now that she had the dress on. It hugged her slender curves, stopping a few inches below her ass while showing off a little cleavage. Her legs looked miles long. “Yeah, this dress isn’t lasting the night.”

“Jagger! I actually like this dress.” She turned to look at herself in the mirror behind her.

I rolled my eyes. “I could buy you a million versions of that exact dress. Maybe I should, just to tear it off you every time you wear it.”

“I’m not saying I’m opposed to the idea,” she said, biting down on her lower lip, which made my cock grow even harder. “But it seems like a waste of perfectly good dresses.” She opened the closet that held her shoes. The combat boots and sneakers she wore most days were at the bottom, but she also had a small collection of high heels in there, too. She picked a pair as I called Lex.

“We’re going out tonight,” I said before he could even tell me hello. “To our usual spot.”

“Oh, are we now?” Lex chuckled. “I’m guessing you and Arden are already getting ready?”

Arden stepped into a pair of silver heels and nodded.

“We are,” I said. “See you outside in ten minutes.”

Arden did her hair and makeup in my quarters while I changed into something more appropriate for going out. By the time we were ready, our aides had a car pulled up front. Lex was out front, too, wearing dark jeans and a dark t-shirt. His face lit up when he saw Arden.

“Wow, Kitten,” he said, taking her hand and making her do a twirl so he could rake his eyes up and down her body. “You look gorgeous.”

“Thank you.” Arden’s cheeks flushed. “Let’s get going.”

Lex opened the door for Arden before I could, but I helped Arden into the back of the SUV. Lex and I got in on either side of her. The club wasn’t far from the palace, but it was tucked away among so many businesses that it was easy to miss. If the massive fae bouncers weren’t standing next to the door, we would have missed it.

We walked straight to the front door, bypassing the long line. As always, whispers about our presence circulated through the crowd, and a few fae were even brave enough to sneak photos of us. I scowled at them, even though I really didn’t mind.

The bouncers straightened up the moment they saw us, bowing their heads. Even if we weren’t flanked by several enforcers, they’d recognize us. We didn’t go out much anymore, but when we did, it was usually here.

“Your Highnesses,” one bouncer said. “Welcome. Someone will take you straight to the VIP section.”

The bouncer opened the door, revealing a dark hallway with another door at the end. That door opened from the inside, the pounding music and lights pouring into the hall. I took one of Arden’s hands and pulled her along.

The crowds went quiet and parted as we walked through to the VIP area, people moving out of our way and bowing their heads. Arden gripped my hand tighter. She was getting much more comfortable with the attention given to us as Royals, but moments like this still got to her.

“They’ll calm down once we’re in the VIP section,” Lex said into Arden’s ear, just loudly enough for me to hear it.

The VIP section was in the back, raised on a high platform. I sensed the magical barrier keeping civilian fae out of the VIP area as we crossed it. They’d put a sound dampening spell on the area as well. It was luxurious and sensual, with dark furniture and low lighting. With us set above the dance floor and our security standing guard beyond the magic barrier, the atmosphere was intimate. Just what I wanted.

“Oh, wow.” Arden took in the VIP area, putting her small purse on a table and sitting down. “This is amazing.”

I looked at one of the attendants lingering at the corner of the VIP area. He nodded and rushed over to us.

“What would you like to drink?” the attendant asked.

“The Elixir Special,” I said. Arden’s brows furrowed as she glanced between me and Lex. “Trust me, you’ll love it.”
