“I’m the oldest. My younger brother Cillian was always very protective of everyone. My other brothers Aidan, Connor, and Caden were a bit on the wild side like me.”
“I’d like to meet them one day,” I smiled, popping one last bite of toast in my mouth.
“You will, Leah,” he said. He took one last swallow of his black coffee and put the mug back down on the table. He cleared his throat. “I’m saddened to say that I have to leave for the day to deal with some business, but I’d like to see you again soon.”
“I’d like that too,” I blushed.
He stood up and cleared the dishes from the table. I went to follow him, and he wrapped his arm around my waist. Gently, he kissed the top of my head.
“Go finish your coffee. I’ll take care of this,” he murmured. Even though his voice was soft, it felt a touch authoritative, enough to make my pulse quicken.
“Okay,” I replied shyly, tentatively pulling away from him and returning to the table. He washed the dishes without a word, even going so far as to drying them and putting them away in their proper places in the cabinets. I sipped my coffee slowly, feeling more than a little taken care of and hopeful for the future for the first time in forever.
When he was done, he turned around and held out his hand. I stood up and took it, gasping quietly as he pulled me against him. His fingers brushed under my chin, lifting it gently but firmly. The way he touched me instantly made me feel small. His eyes locked with mine.
“I’ve enjoyed my time with you immensely, little girl,” he said. His hand pressed against my lower back. The feel of his body against mine overwhelmed me for a long moment before I remembered he’d said anything.
“I did too,” I whispered.
His face leaned down and he captured me into a tender soulful kiss. My heart fluttered in my chest, and I couldn’t help but return the kiss with just as much passion as he showed me. By the time he pulled away, my entire body was pulsing with adoration for this man. With a shy smile, I peered back up at him.
“Be a good girl for me today,” he warned lightly, his eyes sparkling.
The hand on my lower back disappeared for a second before he slapped my right bottom cheek just hard enough to leave a lasting sting. I gasped, immediately blushing at the reminder of how he’d taken me over his knee last night.
It made me feel a little feisty.
“Yes…sir…” I said, smirking and rolling my eyes a bit dramatically just to see what he would do. It was a little sarcastic, but it also felt real. I wanted to tease him yet obey him at the same time.
He reached for my face and brushed a thumb over my cheek.
“Does a little girl call the man who put her to bed last night ‘sir’?”
My heart pounded in my chest.
“No… I guess not,” I replied, feeling completely out of my element while also entirely too aroused.
“What does she call him?”
My mind raced and I swallowed hard. I searched his gaze in silence for a minute. I ran through several different terms in my head before I settled on the only one that felt right.

I opened and closed my mouth, trying to will myself to say that single word and grappling with my sudden terror at such a shameful declaration. Maybe he would think I was crazy and run out the door. I looked away and chewed my lip.
“Tell me, little girl.”
I whimpered softly before I finally opened my mouth.
“Daddy…” I whispered.
Time seemed to stop after those two syllables left my lips. I wanted to look away from that warm piercing gaze. I prayed for a black hole to open right beneath my feet and swallow me up whole. Every single heartbeat drummed through me, so loud I thought my ears might burst.
He didn’t look at me like I was insane.
He looked at me like I was perfect.
“Be a good girl for Daddy today. I’ll see you very soon,” he smiled, his face warm. There was nothing in his eyes that said he was disgusted or turned off by what I had said. Instead, he pulled me more firmly against him. His rock-hard cock dug into my hip as he kissed the top of my head.
