“Hey.” I crossed to her, taking in her black skirt with a high slit, white T-shirt, red high heels, and distressed jean jacket. This was a significantly sexier outfit than any of the ones Rebecca had worn in Palm Beach, which both surprised and delighted me. I felt myself growing more turned on as I closed the space between us.And if I’m lucky, she’s not wearing any underwear.“I hope you weren’t waiting too long.”

“No.” She glanced around the room. “I’ve never been here. I mean, I’ve driven past it several times, but never been inside. It’s...um...it’s nice.”

“Nice enough.” I didn’t add that I’d been in so many private airports over the years that I was dead to all the amenities. Leather couches, glossy magazines, spreads of food, private bars, restrooms with showers—much of that came standard. Still, I knew most people never saw the inside of places like these, and I reminded myself how privileged I was to be successful enough to afford a lifestyle like this. “Shall we head out?”

“Of course. Let’s do it.” She fell into step beside me and I resisted the urge to take her hand.I want to get close, but I’m still unsure...“Mind if I ask where we’re heading?”

“My team didn’t say?”

Rebecca shook her head. “They only gave me instructions to meet you here. Short and sweet.”

“I’ll have to talk with them about that.”

“It’s okay. I’m sure it was an oversight. I know they have more important things to do than accommodate me and my requests.”

“On the contrary.” Growing more confident, I took her hand in mine as we walked through the sliding glass entry doors and was pleased when Rebecca didn’t pull away. “You should be a top priority.”

“I should?”

I nodded, then leaned closer to her hair, which smelled like lilac and jasmine. “And if you’ll let me, I’m going to spend tonight proving it.”

“Good.” She angled toward me. “I’m looking forward to it.”

“Get ready,” I murmured, knowing only she could hear my voice and feeling emboldened by the way she looked at me. “I’m going to have you at least twice.”

“Mmm,” she replied, “I’m counting on it.”

I pulled her closer to me as my dick twitched from the implication of that last reply. Suddenly, I wasn’t sure we’d make it to the hotel—and I didn’t care. I wanted her. All of her. Immediately. When we reached the car, I helped her into the backseat and thanked the driver for arriving on short notice. I slid into the place opposite Rebecca and closed the divider between the front seat and back. Then my lips found hers for a long kiss.

“Now,” I said as the driver shifted the car into drive and began navigating us to the private club with exclusive hotel rooms. “Where were we?”

“Right here.”

Rebecca slipped off the seatbelt and moved across the backseat to me. Slowly, she unzipped my trousers, her gaze locked with mine as she drew out the movement. I knew exactly where she was headed.

But I stopped her before we got there.

“No,” I said. “I have a better idea.”

I zipped up the fly of my own pants before I gently pushed her backward, laying her down on the seat. Once she was in a position I liked, I hitched her skirt around her hips and yanked the lacy fabric of her underwear down around her ankles. She was wet already and shivered when my mouth reached the apex of her thighs. As the car moved through the hilly landscape and closer to the Ohio River, I worked to draw out her pleasure, pleasing and tantalizing her most private area with every skill I could muster. She moaned and moved against me, small sounds coming through her parted lips that told me I was bringing her closer to orgasm, closer to the edge.

When we arrived at the club, I was out of breath, and nearly about to come myself.

“Oh no,” she said when the driver stopped the car at the valet drop-off near the side entrance of the club. “So soon?”

“Too soon.” I moved from her thighs to her mouth and kissed her swollen lips.

She sat back in the seat, readjusted her clothing, and straightened her hair. “I’ve never been here either.”

“They have reciprocity with one I’m a member of in Palm Beach.” I unhooked my seatbelt, eager to get inside so we could finish what we’d started. “It’s nice enough.”

“All I need is a bed.”

“Yes, you’re right,” I replied. “That’s all we need.”

We hopped out of the car and I led Rebecca through the entrance and up a short staircase to a lobby covered in maroon brocade wallpaper, bronze fixtures, and detailed molding that drove home this was an elegant club that catered to the region’s elite. I retrieved the key at the front desk, heard a spiel about the breakfast options, and whisked Rebecca into the elevator at the side of the hall.

“Room 435,” I said as we rode the car up four floors. “We’ll see how the Ohio River Club stands up.”
