Family. They all were his family, and he was finally surrounded by them. Soon, they all left the rink to go to Shaurya and Myra, who looked as delighted as he felt.

Shaurya pulled him in for a hug. “Welcome to the family, brother.”

Dev smiled. His heart was full. Then he looked to the side and his lips twisted in annoyance. Rajiv and Sheena approached them with their kids in tow. Sheena waved at him. Dev acknowledged her with a nod.

“Why ishehere?” Dev muttered.

“I called him,” Aaryan said. “You and he have to learn to get along. We refuse to take sides ever again.”

Rajiv approached Dev and offered his hand. “Shall we let bygones be bygones?”

Dev studied his hand. “I still don’t like you. You’re too arrogant for your own good.”

Rajiv raised a brow. “That’s rich coming from you.”

Avantika stepped in between them. “Seriously, you two? Are you going to keep behaving like kids? From what I heard, your fight in the past was way too trivial and only dragged on because of your huge egos.”

“Tell him,” Rajiv grumbled. “I’m willing to start afresh.”

Avantika crossed her arms on her chest and studied Dev. He shook his head and put his hand in Rajiv’s outstretched one.

“Fine, let’s forget the past and move on,” Dev accepted.

“It’s not like you have a choice,” Rajiv mumbled. “I am very much a part of their circle. You’re the one who needs to fit in.”

“That does it!” Dev lunged for him, but Avantika pulled him back.

Sheena tugged her husband’s arm. “Stop it, will you?”

“You’re no fun, sweetheart,” Rajiv told her. He put an arm around Dev. “You were true to them, and that’s enough for me.”

Dev nodded. Vihaan, Aaryan, and Shaurya joined them.

“Let’s go home,” Vihaan said. “Tiya has organized dinner for everyone at our villa, and before you all complain, she’s ordered food fromLa Soiree.”

Dev chuckled. All of them had returned to Dubai from Shimla and moved into the villas they all owned. They lived together, yet away from each other. It was a perfect arrangement.

He met Aaryan, Vihaan, and Shaurya at work daily, and they all sought his advice when it came to the businesses owned previously byLuthra Inc.Similarly, he referred to them for anything that was solelyKeyStone-related.

They were still in the process of moving all the companies underKeyStone’s umbrella. Once done,KeyStonewould become a name to reckon with in the business world. It would become a conglomerate at par with Rajiv Mehra’sPoseidon Corp.

“Dad!” Neil linked his arm with his and Dev slowed his steps to walk with him.

He looked at his son, and his chest flooded with love.

“Uncle Aaryan’s got a jet ski. Let’s check it out tomorrow,” Neil said.

“Okay, but in the evening,” Dev said. “It’s too hot during the day, and your school starts on Monday. You can’t be falling sick with a heat stroke before that.”

“Cool, evening it is then!” Neil gushed, leaving them to go to Aaryan and Vihaan. Dev watched the twins bend their heads to listen to what his son was telling them. Aaryan patted his head, and Vihaan put his arm around Neil. Shaurya stopped in front of them and said something to Neil that made him laugh.

Joy filled him. These men were the reason his son was such a good kid.

Avantika’s soft hand slipped into his.

“Are you happy?” she asked.

“Are you?”
