Her eyes drop down my body, pausing on each angry bruise that darkens my skin.

“Have I shown any sign of not being capable of giving you what you need yet?”

“You’re insane.”

“Certifiable, babe. It’s fun.”

Once we’re both dressed, we take one more fond look at the broken bed before pulling the door open and walking out of the room that forever changed our lives.

I don’t care if she wakes up in the morning sober and regrets all of this. There’s no way in hell I’m letting her go back on it. Ever.

This is it now. No more bullshit or drama.

Nico Cirillo is officially off the market. Not that I was ever really on it, but whatever.

Only a couple of minutes later, Bri and I walk out of that room dressed in sweats and t-shirts, hand in hand, to a sea of smug faces.

“Oh, you can all fuck right off,” I scoff, immediately dragging my girl toward the suite door.

“Wait,” Bri says, tugging on my arm and turning back to my sister. “Is everything really okay?” she asks.

Stepping up behind her, I wrap my arms around her waist and rest my chin on her un-injured shoulder. It feels like the most natural thing in the world, and I can’t help but wonder why I haven’t been doing it all this time.

What the hell was I so scared of?

“Yeah, everything is good.”

“So what now?” Bri asks, looking at Theo and then back at me as if we hold all the answers to our current situation.

“I’m not comfortable discussing it here. If…” Theo shakes his head. He doesn’t need to say any more; we all know. The evidence of what happened here is all around us. “We can clock off.”

“What time is it?” I ask, looking around at the exhausted faces before me.

“Almost four a.m.”

My eyes widen as I discover just how much time I lost in Brianna’s body in that bedroom.

“We’ll go back and debrief, then you can all crash,” Theo explains.

“Are you all okay?” Bri asks, looking around at the girls.

Stella hops to her feet like this is just any other day.

“You don’t need to worry about us, girl. Those pricks never stood a chance.”

Bri shakes her head, her body jolting with her soft laughter.

“Rhea, you good?”

She nods sleepily.

“Come on, you can crash at my place and I’ll take you back home tomorrow,” Theo offers, pulling his sister to her feet and tucking her under his arm protectively. “Ready?” he asks everyone.

“Yeah, get me the hell out of this place,” Emmie agrees, finding his other side.

He passes us on his way to the door, pausing to release both girls in favour of pulling his gun from his waistband.

Without instruction, Emmie takes Rhea’s hand and follows him out.
