“I’m being serious. I’m not even joking. You’ve opened a can of worms, Finn. First that incredible hand job and now this. You’re stuck with me and my one leg.”

“Jesus.”

“Even he can’t save you now.”

Finn chuckles gruffly, his hand threading through my hair.

“Go to sleep,” he mutters, and my eyes close.

The last thing I think before I fall into the abyss is how happy I am he came home.

To me.

LANDON

I can’t stop thinkingabout the blow job and the hand job. All the jobs. Work me over, Finn.

But he hasn’t touched my dick again since the night on the kitchen counter.

No, his fingers are too busy texting Archer.

I had hoped he would forget all about the annoyingly sexy barista now that he’s had me, but no such luck. Apparently, I wasn’t that memorable.

My inability to get Finn to stick his hands down my pants isn’t for lack of trying. He pulls away each time, leaving me disappointed.

I have spent the last two days practically naked, wandering around the apartment, sticking my dick out, pointing to it, just to make sure he remembers it’s there.

But every time, he just lifts an eyebrow at me and wraps me up in a blanket instead of wrapping his hand or mouth around my dick. It’s really starting to frustrate me.

Maybe it’s this bump on my head turning him off. I mean, it’s gone down a lot, but mostly it’s a nice shade of ugly purple.

Who wouldn’t want me like this? Huh? I’m a total catch.

“Are you done?” I ask, eyeing Finn whose thumbs are zooming over the screen of his phone.

We’re currently parked in a dirt lot about to take a short hike to Felton Bridge, a large wood-covered bridge that spans the San Lorenzo River. We should have been out of the car minutes ago, but I’ve just been sitting here watching Finn ignore me.

I can tell he really likes the guy. Maybe they’re rekindling something. I don’t remember Finn dating anyone specific in high school, but apparently, there’s quite a bit I don’t know about this best friend of mine.

When I pried, he told me they’re just friends. But I’ve never liked a friend like that before. I mean, not since Finn.

But Finn is different. He’s always been different.

He peeks over at me. “Yeah, one second,” he says and slips the phone into his pocket. “Ready.”

I’d rather he left the stupid thing in the car so Archer doesn’t interrupt my time with him, but I don’t mention it because I don’t want to seem jealous. I’m not jealous.

Lies. I’m so fucking jealous.

Finn links his hand with mine as we move down the path leading to the bridge.

“So, what were you guys talking about?” I ask, trying to sound nonchalant. Just open that door for me, Finn. I wanna know why you’re so into this guy. What does he have that I don’t, besides two legs, awesome hair, a cool job, and a nice wardrobe?

Finn glances at me and smirks. “Not telling you shit, Landon. So might as well stop trying.”

“I know your password.”
