But I wasn’t going to let him talk like that of Brax, truth or not. ‘Watch your mouth!’ I never thought I would need to use the power my position gave me on my friends, yet Brax’s reputation seemed to be known worldwide.
‘Hey, don’t shoot the messenger. Everyone knows who he is. He used to be king around here before Cole,’ Thomas tried to explain, triggering some of Jenna’s memories.
‘Oh my God, you’re right. He and… I can’t remember... there was another guy who used to rule the school.’ Jenna kept trying to jog her memory, though it didn’t seem to be working.
‘Ferris,’ I grumbled, knowing that I just brought Hell into my life.
‘Yesss, Ferris.’ She had a revelation. ‘Wait. Ferris, as in...’ She instantly covered her mouth, remaining in shock for a minute. ‘Thomas, we need to leave.’ Her senses kicked in, dragging me by the hand towards a secluded corner of the hallway where no one could hear us. ‘Talk,’ she ordered, crossing her arms like I’d been holding out on her.
Well, I hadbeenholding out on her, but I wasn’t expecting to be exposed.
Besides, where should I begin?
Cole, Ferris, or Brax?
‘And say what?’ I shrugged, thinking it was pointless to go through all details.
Pointless to me…
‘Everything. I want to know what and when and how,’ she demanded as I was just acknowledging that she wasn’t going to let it go before I gave her some answers.
‘Okay, okay. This is hard for me to explain.’ And the truth was that I couldn’t fully put into words what I shared with the guys. I had no idea how someone could justify three boyfriends or whatever my kings were. ‘You know Cole...’
Jenna nodded, waiting for me to go on even though I had no idea where exactly I was going.
‘And you seem to know Brax,’ I continued. ‘And Ferris...’
‘Would you tell me already?’ She was losing her patience, hoping that I would speak before we turned fifty.
It was unfair of me keeping my relationship with them hidden from her, especially since she let me into every single detail of her life.
‘I’m with all three of them.’ The words just blurted out of my mouth. The band-aid has been ripped off — and it was one hell of a band-aid.
‘You’re with them? What does that even mean? Like you’re sleeping with all of them?’ Jenna blinked repetitively like she was having difficulty processing the information.
It was a lot to take on, I admit.
I was starting to think she was seeing me as a tramp who used them for her own personal gain, when in fact, we couldn’t be further from that concept.
‘Teach me, master.’ Jenna pressed her palms together.
Was she actually begging me?
Or making fun of me?
I couldn’t tell for sure, but the second plea convinced me she was serious. ‘You’re my new mentor.’
‘And you’re insane.’ I chuckled.
There was no shutting down Jenna. ‘I’m intrigued! I want to know more. I want to know everything! How on earth did you end up with three extremely hot men?’
‘Three extremely hot men, Mouse? You’re shameless!’ Cole’s voice echoed from down the hallway. He was walking straight toward us and probably had overheard everything.

At least now, her mouth had completely shut as she was looking dumbfounded at Cole, who stopped right in front of me.
‘I’ll punish you for that.’ He cast a sinful smile, crashing his perfectly carved mouth over my lips. ‘I mean it.’
