“I need a quick shower,” I tell her as stand and walk toward the adjoining bathroom.
“Mind if I join?” she asks, and I almost freeze mid-step.
She gives me a sultry look. Her tongue sweeps her lips slowly. My control nearly snaps as I almost take her up on her offer.
“If I accept, we’ll be in here all day,” I tell her.
“I don’t see a problem with that,” she purrs and my cock is hard in an instant. If she looks downward, she will see my dick tenting my pants.

Crystal rings out as I touch the rim against Aurora’s. She licks her lips then takes a sip, clearly flustered.
“To us,” she says when my silence continues.
We spent the whole afternoon exploring the city and beyond. In the end, I took her out for the highlight; the private dinner in my own backyard. I even organized staff for us.
I must admit, I almost enjoyed spending the day with Aurora. If I hadn’t had to keep my guard up, I might even have had fun. But that’s the thing about dealing with a treacherous snake. You never know when they’re going to bite.
For a second, I wonder how long it will take Ludis to figure out who she’s working for. I just hope he can extract the information without sounding any alarms. For a moment, I think about what would happen if my enemies find out that Aurora’s cover has been blown, but I brush the thought aside.
Despite his earlier fuckups, I’m sure Ludis knows what he’s doing. Not to mention that this time he’s got skin in the game. He knows well that he can’t afford further mistakes without bearing the consequences.
He texted me earlier to tell me that our cargo has been secured in the warehouse. It’s the first shipment in weeks that arrived without a fuckup.
I settle back in my seat and bring myself back to the present moment.
