I'm not a stranger to the fact that money can't buy happiness. If parents spent more time with their children instead of buying expensive things like ranches, the world would be a better place.

But you know what? At the end of the day, we make the best of every situation. And even if money can't buy happiness, I'd rather use it to buy my freedom. Because freedomdoesin fact buy happiness.

Most of the time.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck," I mutter, watching the signage tell me I'm getting closer every damn mile to the God forsaken town I called home.

Phoebe's wedding is tomorrow and I'm heading back so I can meet the bridal party. It's just going to be us girls, and we have quite a night planned to celebrate Phoebe's last night of freedom.

She had opted to forego a bridal shower, so the three of us have secretly been planning a girls' night for her.

Including a stripper.

Because every bride needs a stripper and have abs waved in her face.

The five of us, including Phoebe's mom are staying at a small country farm. The wedding is being held on the farm, with the ceremony taking place on a hill, overlooking some scenic mountains. There's a large rustic room where the reception will take place, and beautiful ponds on the grounds.

The weather is meant to be absolutely perfect tomorrow, and I'm keeping all of my fingers and toes crossed for the perfect day.

Tonight, we're all staying in the bridal suite with Phoebs. We've organized blow up mattresses, then tomorrow, we each have our own separate room on the grounds.

Thankfully, the venue is about fifteen minutes outside of town, looping around the back towards the mountains. It's secluded so there's no chance of running into anyone.

But still, driving through town to get there, puts me on edge.

As I spot Wheels, I timidly look at the car park, seeing if I recognize any bikes or patrons. It's pretty quiet since it's only mid-morning and there's no one lingering around as I drive past.

Apparently Jeremy is a bit of a whiz with technology, so before I left, I had him help me turn my location off on my phone. He's reassured me that even if I log onto Facebook now, no one will be able to see where I am unless I post about it or tag myself somewhere.

I breathe a sigh of relief when I reach the other side of town, heading into the country side of it. I'm home free now, and finally, I start getting flutters of excitement.

I find the venue easily, gazing in awe at the scenic view and perfectly cared for grounds. There's some animals on the farm, and at the top of the hill, I spot the place where the ceremony will take place. There's a built in frame, draped in flowers where the couples stand to say their vows and I can't help but get a little teary eyed, thinking of tomorrow.

I grab the piece of paper from the passenger seat with my handwritten instructions that Phoebe gave me. It's directions on how to get to the rooms, and I follow the dirt trail to the other side of the farm. I spot her car along with a few others and park.

"Rylee!" she yells excitedly, barrelling out of a building when I get out of the car.

"There's the missus!" I grin, hugging her tight.

Phoebe already looks stunning, her hair freshly dyed and beautiful nails for the big day.

"Mandy and Nic are here already. Mom will be up in a few hours. She's just with Dad in town," she says, helping me with my bags.

"God, it's beautiful here, Phoebs," I remark, looking around.

She follows my gaze, nodding. "I know. I can't believe this time tomorrow, I'll be Con's wife."

The two of us head inside, Phoebe guiding us to the bridal suite. Mandy and Nicole give me a big grin as I enter, champagne glasses already in hand.

I give Mandy a hug before taking a glass from her. "Is it all sorted?" I ask quietly.

She nods, smirking. "Food will be arriving soon. The spa clinicians will be here in an hour for massages and facials, then our special guest will come around 5pm."

"Perfect," I say, clinking our glasses together.

I look around the room, noticing our four dresses hanging up in the open-style closet. There's huge double doors on the opposite side of the room, overlooking the mountains and a balcony. There's a king sized bed which Phoebe will have, and us three bridesmaids will sleep on the blow up mattresses which are stacked in the corner.

The room is bright sky blue, with themes of silver throughout. It's very spacious, and I take a peek inside the bathroom, groaning at the huge spa tub and shower.
