"Dibs on the spa later," I say, heading back into the bedroom.

"Pretty sure I'll be joining you," replies Nic, taking a swig of champagne.

I look over and spot Phoebe standing at the double doors, looking outside. She has a calm, serene look on her face and when she feels me staring, she turns to smile at me.

"I'm so glad you are all here. It really is perfect," she mutters softly.

Mandy walks over to her, linking her arm around her baby sister. "You deserve it, sis. You're going to look so beautiful walking down that aisle tomorrow with Dad. Enjoy the day. It goes so quickly."

I blink back tears as I watch the two sisters share an emotional exchange. Mandy has been married for the last three years, and I'm grateful that they will both have the opportunity to share their special days with their Dad. Ronnie is a huge family man, and I know this means the world to him.

My Dad's smiling face pops into my head, tears falling down my cheeks before I even realize I'm silently crying. I miss him so much, and it breaks my heart to know I'll never be walked down the aisle with him, or have my daddy-daughter dance. But I know he will be there in spirit, as he always is with me.

"Hey," Phoebe says, looking over at me. "You okay?"

I nod, clearing my throat. "I'm just so happy for you, Phoebs. Honestly. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this. It means the world to me."

Mandy and Nic give me warm smiles as Phoebe walks over, pulling me into another hug.

"I wouldn't be up there without you, Ry. You're so special to me. You being here, completes everything. Thank you."

I squeeze her back, sniffling as more tears break loose. I hear her sniffle too, and I quickly pull back, laughing.

"Okay, enough emotional stuff. We don't want puffy faces," I say.

A knock at the door makes us all look over.

"Who's that?" Phoebe asks.

I grin at her. "That's your party starting, Mrs. Sloane."

Chapter seventeen

"Inowpronounceyou, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," the celebrant yells.

Cheers and wolf-whistles ring out as Con swoops Phoebe down into a kiss.

The two of them head down the aisle, us pairing up with our partners as we follow. Ben winks at me as we meet in front of the alter, our arms linking.

"Looking good, Rylee. Your dress would look amazing on my floor," he says cheekily.

I laugh, ducking as flowers are thrown over our heads.

"I paid too much money for this gorgeous dress to be collateral damage," I tease.

Ben lets out a deep throaty laugh. "You know what the best part is?"

"What?" I ask, stopping with the other members of the bridal party as we wait to get directed for photos.

"Open bar and chocolate cake," he replies, tugging down his tux jacket.

I snort. "How do you know there's chocolate cake?"

Ben sneaks a glance at Phoebe, who's gripping Con's face with the biggest smile on her face. "Let's be honest. There's going to be chocolate cake. They both love it so much. But if I take a bite and get something disgusting like orange cake, I'm going to be having words with my dear cousin."

"Okay, everyone," the photographer says, motioning us to gather around. "We're going to head down this pathway and take some photos by the pond."

We follow Phoebe and Con, as the photographer leads us to the first spot to take photos. I've never seen the two of them look so happy, and it feels like my heart may burst from how much pride I have for them.
