“Samara. What an unexpected surprise.”

I cleared my throat, swallowing down that previous thought with a small gulp as new ones began flooding my brain, whooshing heat between my legs. He was fucking gorgeous. All of them were, Phantom included despite him currently not being in the same room with us. Coming here was a bad idea. Because for some ungodly reason, my goddamn punani seemed to have a knack for being a thirsty disobedient bitch at the most inconvenient times.

“So, uh, Phantom. Where is he?”

Rhett blinked, surprised by my words. At least he didn’t laugh at me like the perverted fuck standing next to me did. “In there,” he said, pointing to the left side of the dorm.

He looked away from me to Isaac, who chuckled under his breath and shook his head.

“Come on, Samurai. He’s in the bedroom.”

I followed Isaac there, briefly turning back to see Rhett headed in the opposite direction. Instead of knocking, Isaac shoved open the door.

“Hey grumpy,” he kind of shouted as he popped his head in. “You have a visitor.”

Isaac dashed to the side and permitted me to enter with a huge, overdramatic wave. I hesitated at first, but after taking in a deep, calming breath, I complied. The faster I get this over with, the faster I can leave.

The room was insanely large, divided into two sections with separate beds. The bedding on my right was solid black with a skull and crossbones design in the middle. The wall was covered with band posters and hanging just above the bed was a stunning dream catcher. The other side was smothered with posters of half-naked swimsuit models and the bedding was just as basic as my own. It didn’t take a genius to figure out who slept where.

I glanced behind me to see Isaac was gone, so I turned my attention to Phantom who sat across from his bed at a large computer desk, speed-typing away on a laptop. As he shut it, he spun around to face me. His reaction was everything I expected it to be.

“The fuck areyoudoing here?” he snarled, his lips curled in a dark grimace.

He wasn’t long from going to bed. He had on a pair of black gym shorts with a matching tank top that squeezed tightly around his large, rippled torso. His black hair was in a sloppy, damp mess. And to really top it off, he had two full sleeves of ink that spread up across his collarbone and halted at the start of his neck.

I stifled back a groan.

Fucking hell. What is it about an inked-up man that turns me on so fucking much?

“I—”

“Just fucking spit it out already,” he commanded with a vibrant growl.

“—need your help.”

“Sorry, but I don’t assist with charity cases.”

I ground my teeth.Fucking dickhead.

“You’re a rude bastard, you know that? I have money you know. I can pay you.”

Phantom lifted his brows by a small fraction at the mention of money. As he eyed me up and down, surveying my cheap wardrobe, he said, “I think my services are worth far more than what you can afford.”

“You know what.” I scoffed, shaking my head. “I get it, you don’t fucking like me. Well newsflash, dick, I don’t particularly care for you either.”

“Good. That’s one thing we can agree on.” He tore his hateful pupils away from me to the door. “Hey Isaac.”

Less than a second later he stuck his head in through the threshold, a huge grin on his face. The asshat must have been listening in from the hallway.

“You rang?”

“Get rid of her.”

“Seriously?” I snarled as Isaac came in and proceeded to wrap his fingers around my arm, pulling me towards him. “I said I’d pay you.”

He smirked and spun around in his chair, ignoring me.

“Sorry, Samurai, better luck next time.”
