“True.” He kissed her on the mouth just as his finger found her entrance once more. But still, he just brushed past, didn’t dip inside her.

She moved her hips, trying to get more, but he moved away. He moved all the way down the bed until he was half-sitting, half-lying by her feet.

“I want to see your pussy,” he said. “I want to see everything. Bend your knees. Open your legs.”

Amused but happy to oblige, she shuffled up the bed a little so she could sit up against the pillows, because she wanted to be able to watch him watching her. She did as he told her, bringing her knees up. Leo took hold of her ankles and slid them further apart. His eyes drank her in, moving from her pussy up her body to her eyes and back down again. “Every minute of every day I’m going to remember you like this, exposed to me, wet for me.”

“Might be awkward in Parliament.”

He grinned, a wicked lopsided sort of a grin. “Might be the only thing that gets me through it.”

Then he slid his hand along her thigh and watched her as he pushed his index finger inside her. She inhaled sharply at the pressure, and the pleasure. He drew his finger halfway out, watching all the time, then pushed back inside with excruciating slowness.

“Leo…” she groaned.

“I don’t want to miss a thing.”

In and out again, so slowly she felt she might break with tension. She was so desperate for more, her breasts aching, her hips moving of their own accord, grinding to meet Leo as he thrust his finger back in. His gaze flicked up to her face to catch her expression as he added a second finger. She cried out at the burst of new sensation, and when she opened her eyes, Leo was on his knees, leaning over her to kiss her breasts.

He met her eyes with the wicked grin she was starting to fall in love with. “I know I said I would be slow, but I don’t think I’m going to manage it.”

He removed his fingers then took her by the hips and pulled her down the bed so she was lying on her back. He positioned himself over her, knee hard between her thighs. Missing his fingers, she couldn’t help but grind against his leg.

“You’re still OK with no condom?” he said against her neck in between kisses.

She nodded, hardly able to speak. “Yes. Please.” She reached for him, guiding him to her entrance.

He kissed her, then pushed fully inside. “Fuck, Pea. You fit me like a fucking glove.”

He stretched her blissfully tight, so much beautiful pressure that her inner muscles twitched and fluttered around him. He held himself up, muscled forearms tense and corded on either side of her head, and he looked down at her, watching her as he moved.

It was all too much, the heated pleasure in his eyes, the weight and strength of him above her, the friction and force of him filling her completely, pushing her inexorably to the edge of what she thought she could bear. It was too good. And then he moved harder, faster, bending down to kiss her fiercely before he changed position, slipping his hands under her arse and hauling her up against him, shifting the angle so she was helpless, falling apart… “Fuck,” she gasped. “Leo, it’s so good. It’s so good…”

They exploded together. Leo kissed her feverishly, his breath ragged. She held his face in her hands, and he looked at her, spent, gone, hers. “I love you,” she told him as tears glittered in his eyes. “I love you, I love you.”

“I love you too, Pea. God, I love you so damn much.”

They lay together for a long time, their breathing slowing, limbs loosely tangled. Pea marvelled sleepily at the strength of Leo’s arms around her, the size of his body, the simple beautiful curves of muscle on his shoulder, his arms, his chest. She traced them with her fingers until her eyes drifted shut.

She was woken an hour or so later by a phone buzzing on the bedside table. Not hers. She didn’t even know where she had put hers. It was Leo’s phone, skittering over the polished wood as it vibrated, messages lighting up the screen.

Leo stirred as she lifted her head from his chest, his arms tightening around her though his eyes stayed closed.

“Leo, your phone.”

He mumbled something incomprehensible.

She reached across him to pick it up, her breasts pressing into his chest. That woke him up. He cracked open one eye, then another, and smiled a lazy, crooked smile as he saw her leaning over him. He reached up and stroked the back of his knuckles over her breast.

So she had to kiss him, of course, the phone forgotten, dropping onto the pillow by Leo’s head. Until it buzzed again, right by his ear, making him jump.

“Can I throw it in the lake?” he grumbled as he reluctantly broke away from her and unlocked the screen. He read the messages, one eyebrow raised.

“What is it?” said Pea. “Is it important?”

“Tomorrow’s headlines have been released.” He handed her the phone. “I’d call itoverduerather thanimportant, but tell me what you think.”

She glanced at him curiously as she took the phone. There was something coy in his tone, a slight flush on his cheeks as though he was almost embarrassed.
