“Do you know how to beg, little girl?”

She shook her head against his touch on her neck.

“It’s simple. You say, “Please make me come, Nick.”’

“Just like that?”

Her stomach tightened as he caged her against the smooth window.

“Yes, just like that.”

He took a step back from her, and she cried out at the absence of his touch.

She wanted it back, and by the sly look on his face, he knew it.

Her hand slid down to her mound, her fingertips hovering near her clit. “I could do it myself.”

That classic shrug. “You could. And we could end this right here and now. Or you can be brave and beg for what you want,” he clasped her hand to her thigh, kissing her so hard she felt dizzy.

“Let me hear you say it, Mulberry” he brought her hand to his lips.

The air surged with the electricity between them.

He waited, his hot breath gently skimming across the top of her delicate hand.

She swallowed, her mouth so dry.

Glancing away from his intense stare, she shuddered.

This was everything she wanted, having control taken from her by someone safe. By someone, she could trust. It made no sense that she was hesitating now.

He squeezed her hand gently, dropping it.

Her heart thundered against her ribs.

She wasn’t going to let this moment go because she felt like if she didn’t grab it, whatever this was between them, would fizzle.

“Please make me come, Nick,” the words were out.

Barely above a whisper, every nerve ending was tightly wound.

“Not bad for your first try. Good girl.” His firm hands on her waist felt so right.

“Wrap your legs around my waist, and do not let go” his breath tickled her neck.

She did. He steadied her, positioning her just so, and she loved the heat of his body against hers.

“Fuck, we need condoms,” he stopped kissing her.

“It’s fine. I’m on birth control.”

“You like taking risks?” Nick gently set her legs on the floor, marched to the kitchen and rummaged through a drawer.

“No.”

“You don’t have me convinced. Putting yourself out there for a target for every lunatic to come after you, on purpose.”

It was just like him, to throw cold water, crashing their mood.
