He pulled his pants down, and his cock sprang free, looking hard and thick. She swallowed as he knelt on the bed, settling between her knees.

“I love you,” he said, leaning forward. His cock pressed against her thigh. She pulled her arms up, wrapping them around his neck. She smiled at him.

“And I love you.”

He slid into her, and she gasped while taking him. She took steady breaths as he moved slowly, allowing her to adjust. She enjoyed it.

He cupped her ass as he moved, almost being cruel with how slow he was moving. She felt that build-up, but he wasn’t going fast enough to make anything happen.

“I don’t ever want to lose you,” he said, kissing her neck. “I can’t lose you. You mean the world to me.”

“You won’t,” she said, looking deep into his eyes. “I’m not going anywhere. I’m right here. I’m not leaving.”

He kissed her and started to pick up speed. She let go of his shoulders and grabbed onto the sheets. Her toes curl as he hit her G-spot.

She was close, and she knew that Deimos was close himself. Her back arched, and Deimos’s hand went to her hip. Suddenly, she felt his nail dig into her skin, and it traveled down.

She would have almost cried if she hadn’t orgasmed at the same time. She cried out from pleasure and pain.

Deimos came, and she fell flat onto the bed, hot and sweaty and panting for air. She closed her eyes, pulling her mind together.

She was Deimos’s. She was his, and he was hers. She opened her eyes and looked at him. He gazed at her with a calm, collected expression. He looked as if he were waiting for her to say something.

She caught her breath and smiled at him. “You’re mine, and I’m yours.”

He smiled at her, his lip curled up slightly. He nodded. “Forever.”

She felt her smile grow. She liked the sound of that.

She leaned up, kissing him roughly. She didn’t think she would ever have everything that she wanted, but she did.

“We need to sleep,” Deimos said, pulling her down onto the sheets. “It’s been a long day, and we both need rest.”

She agreed and curled up next to him. “Thank you,” she whispered to him.

“For what?” he asked.

She smiled, holding him close. “For everything. You’ve changed my life.”

He kissed her head. “And you’ve changed mine.”

TWENTY-SIX

HOPE

She stood outside looking over the cattle like she’d done many times before. She could still remember the first day she arrived at Nova Aurora. She’d been through a whirlwind of emotions and problems.

It had been two years since the big fight with Tura. A couple years and so many things had changed. Starting with her relationship with Deimos.

After winning, she and Deimos spent days together. And a week later, Deimos proposed. She’d said yes. It still made her smile thinking about it. He’d taken her out for dinner and had the band play a slow dance for them. He then got down on one knee and asked her. She nearly screamed with excitement.

She had expected to have the wedding in a year or so, but on Nova Aurora, weddings weren’t hard to prepare for. Everything was planned and ready within six months.

“Hope.” Deimos stepped onto the porch, swinging the door wide, and right at his feet was a little boy. He looked at her with a big smile, and her heart skipped a beat. She looked at his curly hair and how chubby his cheeks were. She wanted to scoop him up and cuddle him close to her chest.

Two months before the wedding, she’d found out she was expecting. They had a little boy and then named him Deimos Junior. He looked exactly like his father.

“Look who put on the new shirt that mom bought for him,” Deimos said, overjoyed. He placed a cowboy hat on Junior’s head, and she doted on him. He wore a new white button-down shirt with blue jeans. He had on little cowboy boots that had tiny buckles. He smiled at her, holding his hands out to be picked up.
