“And how does she feel about it?” Brooklyn added.

“She loves the idea.” It felt strange baring my soul to so many people, but these womenweremy people. “Duke’s been there for her as much as he’s been there for me.”

“What does this mean for your future together?” Joni asked.

I pointed at her. “That, right there, is why I wanted to keep it under wraps.”

“You’re not ready to think about it. Got it,” Darcy said with a nod.

“Of course I’ve thought about it,” I admitted. “It’s impossible not to. But with Duke…we were together long before we weretogether. That doesn’t make sense, does it?”

“I think it does,” Brooklyn said slowly. “You guys were kids when you met. Now you’re adults and you’re exploring what that means.”

“What does it mean?” Mia wondered. “Does he want kids? Doyouwant kids?”

I laughed. “On our first date—which was officially two weeks ago—he literally mentioned the idea of Little Dukes running around.”

“These men…” Allison shook her head and shot me a rueful smile. “They can’t wait to have families. It’s like a bunch of bikers obsessed with reproduction. It’s hot.”

“I could wait. I’m only twenty-four,” I said.

“I’m thirty-one,” Doc said. “And I’d still like to wait. Well, my brain is telling me to wait, but my body… That clock that everyone talks about? Yeah, it’s finally ticking.”

“I’ve got Waverly to watch out for. I’ve got my business that’s just starting to do something. What’s the rush?” I demanded.

“There’s no rush,” Mia assured me. “Hell, I didn’t even know if I wanted kids when I got with Colt.”

“And look how that turned out for you,” Joni ribbed.

“Yeah, it turned out exactly how it was supposed to,” Mia admitted. “But it’s okay to enjoy what you’ve got now without all that other stuff.”

“So how hot is the sex with Duke?” Jazz asked.

I arched a brow. “You know I love you, but do you really think I’m going to kiss and tell?”

“Whoa.” Jazz blinked brown eyes. “This is serious with Duke.”

“Yeah, serious.” I nodded.

“Well, cheers,” Brielle said, lifting her glass. “To hot sex and happiness.”

“I’ll drink to that!” Doc grinned.

Brielle’s phone was on the floor in front of her and it lit up with an incoming call. She silenced it. “It’s Roman. I’ll call him later.”

The screen went dark and then lit up again with an incoming text.

“He will not be ignored,” Jazz said with a grin.

Brielle sighed. “Not a moment of peace with three older brothers. He’s probably checking to see how much I’ve had to drink.”

“He needs a girlfriend,” Jazz quipped. “Then he’d be occupied and wouldn’t bother you as much.”

With a roll of her eyes, Brielle pressed a button and got up from the living room floor and headed toward the kitchen.

“Can we cut into the cake now?” Doc asked.

“It’s your party,” Brooklyn said, rising.
