Page 170 of No Omega Needed

"Dude, you're a broken record," Dexter says, laughing as he pulls me away from Lachlan. "I love you." He mouths the words and joins them for the chorus.

My brain flashes back to the bar when the guys serenaded Kitten…

To ask her to marry them.

My eyes fly to Issac. He's grinning at Bellamy.

Jude and Vince are standing off to the side of the stage by Storm and Griffin. They're all swaying and laughing.

The synthesizer hits, and Kitten belts out the verses saying, "Call on me, love."

"Your name is very convenient," Rook says, gripping my shoulders. He spins me around, and lets go. I turn back around, but I'm so confused.

My eyes take in the front of the stage and my jaw literally drops.

All ten of the guys are down on one knee. Kitten stands in front of them, grinning at me.

"Wanna get hitched? I know you want to marry them, and I want that for you, too," she says, swallowing thickly. "We all want that. We had a bit of a pack meeting." Facing the audience, she says, "See, packs still can only legally marry if there's an omega. So dumb." She rolls her blue-green eyes and turns back to me. "Want to share husbands? Technically, you'll also be my wife."

"What?" I snort a laugh, aiming for her.

"I'm sorry, this is the only way I can help make sure you get to marry all your men. We'll keep doing things as we have. You'll keep your guys, I'll keep mine, and we'll all share a life. Ohmigod, we'll be sister wives."

She cackles, bending in half and shaking her head.

Rook slaps a hand over Lachlan's face while Crew does the same to Saint.

"No more brother-husband jokes," Rook growls. "We've all reached our capacity on that."

"Want to share a life with us?" Kitten asks. Her face is so damn hopeful as she wraps her arms around me.

Issac nods, mouthing, "Marry me?"

Dexter beams at me. Jude and Vince look incredibly fucking nervous. Bellamy is just chilling, strapped to Jude's chest.

"Now is when you say, sure, why the fuck not?" Lachlan calls out, slapping Rook's hands away.

My heart tries to pound right out of my damn chest.

"Sure, why the fuck not," I yell back at Lachlan.

The audience screams, and chaos ensues.

"Are you serious?" I ask Kitten.

"So damn sure," she says, squeezing me tight. "I love you."

"I love you, too," I whisper as the tears start to fall.

I guess Vince was right. Not all relationships have to be based on fucking. Family is what you make it, and these crazy assholes are all mine.

Three Months Later

Love and I are cuddling on the couch, watching a movie, when the front door slams open.
