Declan loves him like the father he never had, and while we've built a solid as fuck brotherly relationship over the years, I know it's the old man he loves the shit out of. Seriously I don't think Declan would have turned out half the man he is today without Pops' guidance. He loves the hell out of my little brother. I don't know where I'd be without him, either.

"Ohmigosh, are you crying right now?" Kitten asks Lachlan.

"It's an emotional moment," Lachlan pouts, crossing his arms over his chest. "This is a huge accomplishment. We kept the first kid alive to not only eighteen but high school graduation."

Issac snorts.

I blink, glancing away from the group. I'm right there with him.

The ceremony still has a bunch more kids to get through their names before we can get out of here and celebrate.

I snuggle in close to Jude's side, and he starts to purr softly. He always knows just how to ground me.

Baby grins at me from over her shoulder in the row in front of ours, and I smile back.

I'm pretty sure life doesn't get any better than this.
