He inhales sharply. “And?”

“And dress you in my warmest clothes before serving you up hot chocolate and foot rubs.”

“Urg.” Orson drops a laugh against my shoulder. “That didn’t end the way I thought it would.”

“Let me guess, you thought I’d end with you finishing?” I cluck my tongue. “So rude.”

“You started it.”

“You bring out the worst in me.”

And the very, very best. Orson has been an excellent study in the bedroom, and I’ve never met anyone so fucking shameless and excited to try new things. I can barely keep up with him.

My gaze snags on a couple a few booths away.

“Hey, Orson. Date or mates?”

He sniggers. “Definitely date.”

I tilt my head, eyeing the men. “I dunno … they’re looking kinda platonic to me.”

“I don’t think this game works as well when you don’t know the answer.”

“True. But I’m curious now.” I step forward, but Orson hauls me back.

“You can’t go around asking random men if they’re together.”

“Don’t see why not.”

“Some guys don’t like that.”

I pull away and throw him a wink back over my shoulder. “Do I look like the kinda guy people intimidate easily?”

Orson shakes his head as I round the counter and pretend to straighten out my display. I wait for the men to get close enough.

“Oh, hey, darlin’,” I say as though I’ve only just noticed them. “Nice day out.”

The blond one huddles down into his scarf. “Are you kidding? It’s freezing.”

“Don’t worry about him,” the redhead says. “He’s cold-blooded.”

I chuckle and look over the blond again. His cheeks and nose are bright red. “Probably need to move somewhere south.”

“Actually, we noticed your sign. Kilborough, huh? We’re relocating.”

“Oh,really?” I shoot a glance Orson’s way. “Any reason?”

“Got a job opportunity there.”

I nod toward the blond. “And your partner’s moving with you?”

They both burst into laughter. “Friend. Brayden is escaping a shithead family, so he’s coming with me.”

And … I win another one. I glance over at Orson, wondering what the chances are that I’ll be rewarded with another lap dance.

“Well, if you don’t know anyone,” I swipe up my business card, “give me a call. Orson and I would be happy to show you around, uh …”

“Luke.” His lips pull up in the corner as he reaches out and takes my card.
