“No. You hated doctors. I hate all men who walk the face of this earth.”

“So, does that mean no more sex?”

“Now, don’t get all crazy, Georgia. I hate men, not their dicks.”

“You’re such a ho.” I laughed as I hooked my arm around her, and we walked down to Jenni’s house.

“One proud ho.” She laid her head on my shoulder.

CHAPTER34

Jackson

“I hate the thought of you not being in our bed tonight.” I hugged Georgia tightly.

“It’s only for one night. You know it’s bad luck to see the bride on her wedding day.”

“I can’t wait to watch you walk down that aisle.” I broke our embrace and kissed her.

“And I can’t wait to walk to you and become Mrs. Georgia Scott-Kind.” A beautiful smile crossed her lips.

“Okay, you two. You’ve said your goodbyes.” Nikki flew down the stairs. “Come on, bride-to-be. Let’s get to the hotel.”

“I love you, Dr. Jackson Kind.” Georgia’s lips brushed against mine.

“I love you more, Dr. Georgia Scott. See you tomorrow, yeah?”

“Yeah. See you tomorrow.” Our lips met one last time before she walked out the door.

Sighing, I went into the kitchen and grabbed a couple of beers from the refrigerator and my guitar. Walking down to the beach, I took a seat next to Shaun.

“Did Georgia leave?” he asked.

“Yeah. She and Nikki just left.” I brought the bottle to my lips.

“Last night as an unmarried man.” Simon grinned as he walked over and sat down.

“I can’t believe the wedding is tomorrow already.” Conner shook his head.

“You nervous?” Sam asked with a smile.”

“Yes,” Conner and I both spoke at the same time.

“There’s no need to be nervous. You’re marrying the love of your life, and you’re proposing to the love of your life. And what about you, Nathan?” Simon asked. “What the fuck? You have a kid with Sofia. Why hasn’t your dumb ass proposed yet?”

“I’m going to. It’s just been crazy with everything going on. Besides, I don’t want to take all the joy and excitement away from my brothers. Don’t worry. I’ll let you know when I decide.”

“I want everyone to be on their best behavior tomorrow.” I pointed at my cousins.

“What fun would that be?” Simon grinned.

“I mean it, douchebag.” I slapped the back of his head.

“Ouch. Damn, cousin. Don’t worry. I’ll save my disgust for after the wedding. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is ruining your wedding as long as I’m there. Now apologize.”

“I’m sorry for slapping you.” A smirk crossed my lips.

“Nah. I don’t accept your apology.” He brought the bottle to his lips, and I reached over and slapped the back of his head again.
