I held out my hand as she approached, and she placed her hand in mine. The number of tears in her eyes was the same as mine, and I could tell she was trying to hold it together just as I was.

“You.” I smiled. “You are stunning,” I whispered.

The minister welcomed everyone and gave a speech before we said our vows to one another.

“Jackson, you may recite your vows.”

Taking hold of Georgia’s hand, I stared into her eyes.

“Georgia, my sweet Georgia.” The corners of my mouth curved upward. “I love you. Not only for the amazing woman you are but because you are the most compassionate, warm, loving, kind, and sweetest person I have ever met. You have brought so much light into my life. When we met, I was a broken man. So broken that I never thought I was capable of loving anyone. But you wouldn’t give up on me, and for that, I thank you. You are my entire life and world. You’re my rock and my best friend. You are my queen, and I will treat you as such for the rest of our lives. I will hold the highest respect for you, love you, stand by you in sickness and health, and love you for eternity.” A tear fell down my cheek as Conner handed me her ring. “I give you this ring as a symbol of my everlasting love for you and my commitment to you for as long as we both shall live.” I slipped the ring on her finger and brought her hand up to my lips. Reaching up, I softly wiped away the tears that fell from her eyes.

She took hold of my left hand and stared into my eyes.

“Jackson. I never thought I could love someone the way I love you. I didn’t know that such a love existed. You are the air I breathe, my best friend, my lover, my rock, and you’re every one of my dreams come true. I promise to stand by you in sickness and in health and be there for you when you’re down or facing a difficult challenge. I will love you for eternity, and I can’t wait to build a life with you as husband and wife. I promise to love, honor, and cherish you for all the days of our lives.” Nikki handed her my wedding band. “I give you this ring as a symbol of my everlasting love for you and my commitment to you for as long as we both shall live.” She slipped the ring on my finger and brought my hand up to her lips.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife. Jackson, I know you’ve waited long enough. Kiss your bride.”

Everyone stood, shouted, and clapped as we shared our first kiss as husband and wife.

“I love you, Mrs. Georgia Scott-Kind.” I smiled.

“And I love you.” Our lips met once again.

After taking many wedding photos, we stood outside the doors of the Crystal Ballroom and waited for the DJ to announce us.

“Everyone, I give to you Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Kind!” He shouted.

We walked into the ballroom hand in hand while everyone clapped, whistled, and shouted. I glanced over and saw Aunt Barb and Henry walking toward my cousins.

“Here we go.” I sighed. “We better head over there,” I said to Georgia.

“Boys, I’d like you to meet Henry Thorne. Henry, these are my sons, Sam, Stefan, Sebastian, Simon, and Shaun.” She smiled. “And these handsome men are my nephews, Nathan, Conner, and Christian. Of course, you’ve already met Jackson.”

“It’s nice to meet you. I’ve heard a lot about you.” He shook each of their hands.

“Can’t say that we have,” Simon said. “Anyone else need a drink? I’m hitting up the bar.” He walked away.

“Georgia, you are simply gorgeous.” Everly smiled as she walked over to us and hugged Georgia.

“Jackson. Congratulations, you two.” Asher shook my hand.

“Thanks, Asher. It’s great to see you, Everly. You look beautiful.” I kissed her cheek before hugging her.

Georgia and I walked around and greeted as many guests as possible before it was time to sit down for dinner.

“Everything turned out perfect, didn’t it?” Georgia asked with a smile.

“It sure did. I guess the three trips here were worth it.” I winked at her.

She laughed as she playfully smacked my arm.

“When do we get cake? I’m dying for that key lime and coconut,” I asked as we finished eating our dinner.

“Later. We have to cut it together first.”

“Why wait? Let’s go cut it now.”

It was time for our bridal dance. Georgia didn’t know that I switched out the wedding song we agreed on. I’d heardUntil I foundYouafter we had already picked the other song, but I found this song better suited us.
