“Honeymoon crisis diverted.” I grinned.

“Yeah?” A wide grin crossed her face. “Where are we going?”

“Here.” I handed her my phone.

“Oh, my God, Jackson. Oh, my God. We’re going to Greece?”

“We are. Everything is all set, and we’re staying in their top villa.”

“Get those clothes off and get in here, Dr. Kind.”

“With pleasure.” I smiled as I stripped out of my clothes.

CHAPTER33

Georgia

I walked over to Jackson’s office, and June stopped me.

“Georgia, Dr. Kind had to run to the hospital to check on a patient.”

“He didn’t tell me that.” I frowned.

“It was an emergency. He flew out of here so fast.” She smiled.

“Oh. Okay.” I sighed.

I went into the kitchen area, and while I was waiting for my coffee to finish brewing, Conner walked in.

“Georgia sunshine. How are you, darling?” He walked over to the refrigerator.

“I’m fine, Dr. Kind. How are you?”

“Couldn’t be better.” He pulled out a yogurt and grabbed a plastic spoon from the drawer.

“You’re in a chipper mood today. What’s going on?”

“I’m always in a chipper mood.” He pointed his spoon at me.

“There’s my bitch!” I heard Nikki’s voice from behind.

Turning around, I screamed when I saw her.

“Oh, my God! You weren’t supposed to be here until tomorrow!” I ran and hugged her.

“I just told you I was coming tomorrow to throw you off.”

“You knew about this? Did you pick her up from the airport?”

“Guilty as charged.” Jackson kissed my cheek. “I have to get ready for a patient.”

“Nikki, my love.” Conner walked over and hugged her.

“Damn, Dr. Kind. You get better looking each time I see you.”

“Are you flirting with my boyfriend, you ho?” Charlotte smiled.

“Damn right I am.” They hugged. “It’s good to see you, Charlotte.”
