I spin him as the dancer's eyes widen. I inform her, "You're dismissed."

"Riggs, what the—"

"Did you even look at the arena plans you sent me?" I accuse.

He scrunches his forehead. "No. Why should I?"

I lean closer to his face. "You sent me old plans."

Confusion fills his face, as if he has no clue what I'm referring to or why I'm upset.

"They're from before they renovated," I bark.

"And?"

"And they're not accurate, dumbass!"

He furrows his eyebrows deeper. "We need to adjust, then. We have time."

Heat floods my blood. I clench my fist, accusing, "Are you a complete idiot? We're strapped thin on men and are missing surveillance equipment in certain areas. There's not enough time to solve those problems!"

"Calm down—"

"Don't you dare tell me to calm down! That's my wife on stage. And this is exactly why you aren't the right person to ever handle her security."

"Looks like you aren't either," he sneers.

I pull my arm back, but Benny grabs it and spins me, saying, "Whoa."

Noah retreats several feet away from me and out of my grasp. Not that I could get close to him since Benny's holding me back.

I seethe, "He's the one who sent the wrong arena plans."

Noah claims, "It was an honest mistake. I forwarded what the arena sent."

I glare at him. "You should have checked!"

"I should have? You're in charge of security," he points out.

My gut drops. He's right, but I snarl, "I'll never make the mistake of trusting you again."

"Riggs, let's go figure out our problem," Benny coaxes, steering me back to the corner of the arena.

"Should have let me hit him," I growl.

"So you get arrested and aren't here tonight? Sure. That would be a great idea." He shakes his head and points to the door. "This is what we have to focus on so your wife is safe."

He's right. I take several breaths and concentrate on the task, asking, "How are we securing this?"

Benny locks eyes with me. "The only way is to work with Colton's security team."

"You mean Noah's team? No way! You saw how he doesn't pay attention to detail!"

Benny nods. "Yeah, but it's the only way. It's too late to bring more of my guys in. Plus, I know the head of his team well. He runs a tight ship, just like I do."

"Who is it?"

"Kalim Voght."
