"Maybe you should draw on clues."

"Meaning?" I seethe.

He glances at Blakely. "Want to tell Riggs why you didn't tell him about the party?"

She gapes at him, then quickly looks at me.

I lunge across the room and drag him off the couch.

Blakely shouts, "Riggs!"

Colton mutters, "Oh shit!"

I slide my hand over his throat, squeezing until he's gasping. Maroon fills his cheeks.

I snarl, "Don't you ever insinuate anything about what my wife thinks again."

"Riggs, let him go!" Blakely frets.

Kalim and Benny push between us, and I have no choice but to release Noah. Kalim backs me up against the wall and shouts, "Calm down!"

"Get off me!" I push back.

He spins me so fast that I lose my footing. His arm circles my neck, and he puts me in a headlock. My arms flail, and he snarls, "I said to calm down."

It takes a minute for me to get past my stubbornness and realize he might be one of the few people capable of killing me with his bare hands. While Benny acquired his skills on the streets, Kalim has specialized training I'm gathering not many people in the world have, which is a different level of muscle. So I finally stop fighting.

"Are you ready to stay calm?" he questions.

I hold my hands in front of me in surrender.

He warns, "I'm going to release you. But you better not try anything." He unhooks his arm from around my neck and steps back.

Blakely glares at me, her face red with anger, shaking her head in disapproval.

My gut sinks. But I refocus on Noah and state, "This is the last time I'm reminding you that I'm to know Blakely's schedule at all times."

My warning isn't strong enough, or maybe it's standing next to Benny that gives him courage to continue fighting me. He declares, "You're only to know her work gigs."

I take a step forward, but Kalim tugs me back, barking, "Easy."

I shake him off and point at Noah. "Your days are coming to an end soon."

"Enough!" Blakely scolds.

I lock eyes with her, and my chest tightens. She lifts her chin and puts her arm through Colton's, announcing, "We're going to the party. You aren't invited."

My pulse skyrockets higher. "Excuse me?"

She stands taller and declares, "You heard me."

"I'm your husband," I seethe.

"Then act like it instead of a petulant child!" she snaps.

I take several calculated breaths before ordering, "Everyone but my wife, please clear the room."

Blakely takes several steps toward me and then shakes her head. "No. I'm going, and you aren't."
