“Sunshine, if you don’t stop that, we will never leave this house.”

Her hand reaches between us as she strokes my half-hard cock through my jeans. “And what’s wrong with that? We haven’t had near as much sexy time as we used to.”

“Beautiful,” I lean down to give her a soft kiss. “I promise that tonight, when we get back here, I’m going to take my time making you come over and over again all night long, but I’ve made plans for us.”

“Oh, alright, fine,” she jokes with a smile. “But don’t plan on getting any sleep tonight because we are going to go crazy.”

My dick begs me to say fuck the plans and take her to bed right now, but I urge it to calm down so we can get out the door.

Thankfully, we manage to leave the house and get on our way. I’m not sure exactly how she will feel about the evening that I have planned, but I hope she’ll have a good time.

The truck ride is short, but I hold her hand the whole time. And I have a hard time keeping my eyes off of her. Her blonde hair is down this evening and hangs in loose waves down her back. She wears a tank top under a plaid flannel shirt unbuttoned. And the jeans she’s wearing are making her ass look fucking amazing.

Jenna has seemed to be in a much better place the past week or so. She seems happy. And I’m not sure if it’s the new job or what, but I’m thrilled to see her doing so much better.

We pull up out front of the high school, and she looks more than confused.

“What are we doing here?” She asks.

I park around to the side, and it suddenly becomes clear. There’s a big carnival going on outside of the school to celebrate the football team making it to the district finals. And when I tell you our small town celebrates the high school football team, I mean it.

After I help her out of the truck, we hold hands and start to walk around. There are booths set up everywhere. Some have games to play, and some have snacks. And some are advertising for some of the local businesses.

Jenna walks over and gets us a bag of popcorn to share as we continue to browse. Some signs say “Go Bulldogs!” on just about every booth that we pass.

As I said, welovefootball around here.

We come to a booth where you have to toss tiny rubber ducks into assorted bowls. I hand the man running the booth a couple of dollars, and Jenna and I each take our shots. I miss mine, but Jenna hits hers in just one go.

The man behind the counter hands her a small teddy bear before we walk off. Once we are away from the booth, she gives it to a random little girl walking by. The little girl smiles so big she looks like she just won the lottery.

Jenna and I walk around and snack for a bit before I take her hand and lead her toward the high school. One of the doors leading inside is unlocked.

Small towns.

Walking inside, we head down one of the hallways and look around.

Jenna says, “Wow. This place hasn’t changed at all.”

She’s right. But to be fair, we’ve only been gone a few years.

She asks, “Were you someone who loved high school or hated it?”

I shrug my shoulders. “I don’t know that I did either. It was just the place I had to come before I headed off to work each day. It was fine, but I was never overly invested in it. What about you?”

“I loved it.” She smiles. “But I feel like it was a lifetime ago. So many things are different now.”

When I don’t respond, she pushes me up against a locker and kisses me. When she pulls back, she says, “But not different in a bad way.”

We continue walking, and Jenna suddenly stops in front of one of the glass trophy cases. Right in the very center, there’s a large photo of her and the volleyball team when they won the state championship.

Looking at the trophies, I see most of them are from the volleyball team. Then, when I look at Jenna, I see her staring at them and getting lost in her memories.

And I know I royally fucked up.
