“Yeah, look at you!”

I start following behind her. She asks where we are going, and I instruct her just to follow the trail. When the path becomes wide enough, I move Bambi to walk next to Oreo.

My eyes glance over to Andi. She may feel entirely out of her element, but you’d never know it just by looking at her. Both she and Oreo look completely at ease.

Once we are in the thicker part of the brush, she takes her sunglasses off and hangs them on the front of her tank top. My eyes are immediately drawn to her cleavage. Her big tits are bouncing up and down with every step that Oreo takes.

I have to readjust myself in the saddle to accommodate the bulge in my jeans. Now isnotthe time to get a hard-on. I try to avert my eyes and look at the nature around us. Nature isn’t sexy, right? Maybe not. But the woman next to me is a firecracker, and all I can think about is burying myself deep inside of her again.

I decide to bring up the topic that I’ve been avoiding, convinced it will get my mind as far away from sex as possible.

“So, I need to ask you something,” I begin.

“Should I be worried?” She smiles.

When she sees that I don’t smile back, her face falls.

“No, it’s nothing bad,” I promise. “It’s just that tonight, I have to go to family dinner at my mom’s. We do it every Sunday, and if I don’t show up, she will come over here and drag me back to her house by my ear.”

“Okay?”

“Well, word in a small town spreads like wildfire, and she has caught wind that you are here. She’d like to meet you.”

“Oh.”

“But if you don’t want to go, you don’t have to. You can hang out at the house with Beau, and I won’t be gone long. I know all of this is still really new, and I am suggesting a big step. My feelings won’t be hurt if you don’t want to go.”

She’s thinking so hard that I can practically see the wheels turning in her head. Finally, she says, “You guys do a family dinner every Sunday?”

“Yeah, my momma insists. She’s big on trying to keep us all close.”

She gets lost in her thoughts for another minute before turning toward me. “Sorry. It’s just such a foreign concept to me. I never had a family like that, and even though we were close to Michael’s mom, when we moved from Chicago to California, we didn’t see her often. It’s crazy to me that you all are so close.”

I shrug. “Well, it helps that we are in a small town. We take ten steps and are practically at each other’s doorsteps. And we’ve been all my momma has, so she makes sure we stay close. All of us except Jessie. He’s always running off to who knows where, so we don’t see him much, which is probably for the best.”

I’m glad when she doesn’t press me about my fuck-up little brother. That’s a subject sure to make my mood sour quickly.

“Okay, I’ll go,” she finally says.

“Really?” I ask.

“Really. It’ll be fun.”

I’m not sure if her convincing tone is for my benefit or her own.

“As I said, I won’t be mad if you don’t feel comfortable. My big family can be a lot to take in.”

She looks at me with a fire in her eyes and a coy smile on her lips. “I think I can handle it.”

“I’m sure you can, beautiful,” I say with a chuckle.

I want nothing more than to stop these horses right here and fuck her up against a tree, but she seems to be enjoying our ride.

Once we come to a clearing in an open field, I ask her if she wants to have Oreo run for a minute to get her some real exercise. Nervously, she agrees, and I show her what to do.

Oreo takes off at a steady pace but not enough to scare Andi. Instead, she’s laughing and looks like she’s having the time of her life. As I watch her in her new flannel shirt and my baseball cap, I can’t help but smile. She has this radiance that I’ve never seen before. Hell, I don’t think she even realizes she has it, but it’s breathtaking.

It’s hitting me like an anvil that I am falling hard for this woman. I know we haven’t known each other long, but Andi was right when she said that being around each other is just easy. I’ve never been so comfortable around anyone.
