Elio shrugged one shoulder. “We’re going to have to figure it out together because I’ve never done a morning after.”

She waited for a moment, perhaps expecting him to add a “just kidding” to his pronouncement. He didn’t.

“You know, you keep saying you’ve never spent the night with a woman, but I find it very hard to believe,” she admitted.

“I’m not sure why. It’s exactly as I said. Sex is sex and sleeping is sleeping. I’ve never found a reason to mix the two.”

He watched as she tried to let the dust settle on that information.

“Okay. Well, I guess we’ll just play it by ear.” She glanced over his shoulder to the window. “The snow stopped but looks like the wind has picked up. Looks cold as shit out there.”

She was clearly thinking he wanted to break out of here like a bat out of hell. After all, wasn’t that what he’d admitted to always doing?

“We’re definitely not leaving today. And probably not tomorrow either. I’m going to have to call my coach later and break the news I’ll be a couple days later getting back than expected. You okay with being stuck here with me a bit longer?”

She nodded. “Yeah. Because you promised to distract me.” Gianna shifted a bit closer, letting the duvet slip lower. She’d put a T-shirt on after the condom incident but no panties, no pajama bottoms. And since the shirt was riding up, he was able to see her stomach. An inch or two more, and he’d have a good view of the top of her pussy. His fingers itched to push the covers down.

He pushed that thought away, his eyes lifting to meet hers. Elio studied her face, certain there was no way he was seeing what he thought he was. But the mischievous twinkle in her eye told the tale. She was flirting with him, and she knew exactly where’d he’d been looking and what he’d been thinking.

“You’re right,” he said, his voice deep with the desire to take her again. “I did make that promise.”

She shook her head, gripping the covers to pull them up, as if suddenly aware of what she’d just done. “God. I shouldn’t still be horny, right? I mean, for one thing, that was a fuck-ton of orgasms. And for another, the condom broke, so you would think my girl parts would be all ‘hell no’.”

Elio didn’t interrupt her, let her continue her adorable rambling.

“Maybe I’m still drunk?” she pondered. “Maybe that’s why I’m not freaking out.” She paused, looking at him, waiting for some sort of response.

“I’m sorry, what?” he joked. “I stopped listening after horny.”

“Idiot,” she teased, punching him on the shoulder before attempting to rise, intent on getting out of bed.

Elio shifted closer, wrapping his arm around her waist, unwilling to let her go just yet. “I’m sober as a stone, and you are too. I don’t know why we’re not freaking out, but I’m happy to roll with it.”

“Speaking of stone,” she said, her cheeks flushing as her gaze drifted to regions south. “I’m getting poked.”

Elio wiggled his eyebrows suggestively. “Morning wood. It’s a fact of life when you’re a guy.”

“So…what are you going to do with it? Leave it alone or…”

Elio’s cock thickened even more. “I suppose that depends on you.”

“Me?”

He gave her a wicked grin. “You have first right of refusal.”

She laughed. “Oh my God. You can’t seriously want to have sex with me again after last night.”

Elio didn’t laugh. Because it wasn’t funny. “Gianna, I want you so much right now, I can’t see straight.”

“You do?”

He nodded.

“So…this would be morning-after-a-one-night-stand sex?”

Elio didn’t like that label any more than her thinking that last night was a one-off. Maybe that had been his initial intention, but somewhere in the midst of it all, he’d known all the way to the depths of his soul that one night with her wouldn’t be enough. “It can be whatever we want it to be. Gianna, the ball is in your court. I’d like to continue this affair for as long as we’re here, but if you don’t want that, say the word, and we go back to snowed-in friends, doing puzzles and hanging out. I promise you, I’m cool with whatever you decide.”

Gianna was a thinker, and he respected that. Especially now. She was the one with no experience when it came to casual sex, so she was the one who was going to have to figure out if a short-term affair was something she wanted.
