“Of course I forgive you, Brad,” she says in a breathy tone. “It wasn’t your fault. It was Pamela’s, and we’ll find a way to get back at her because she doesn’t get to just walk away like nothing’s the matter. But for right now,” my beautiful girl states, looking deep into my eyes. “It’s about us. I love you, Brad Landry, and we’re going to figure this out.”
With that, I sweep my sleeping beauty into my arms before pressing another passionate kiss to her lips because Paisley and I just went through a horrific shitshow, that’s for certain. It turns out that my innocent babysitter has a conniving twin sister who tried to ruin everything because of some twisted notion that I would be able to substitute one twin for another. But Pamela was unsuccessful, and in fact, her plan backfired because now, Paisley and I have declared our love for one another, and with honesty, adoration, and a commitment to always tell the truth, our relationship will flourish going forwards with or without her sister’s meddling.

Ismile at my boyfriend while closing and locking the door to my new jewelry shop.
“Well, that was a successful day,” I say. “I think it was probably my most profitable day ever, in fact.”
Brad presses a kiss to my temple.
“Really? That good?”
I giggle while taking his big hand in mine as we make our way back to his townhouse.
“Yes, definitely. Thank you for buying the store for me, by the way. I really appreciate it.”
My man merely presses another kiss to my temple as we amble home comfortably.
“Of course, baby. I’m impressed too because you’re going to school and minding the store at the same time. And you’re also seeing me, and taking care of Tatum too. That’s a lot for an eighteen-year-old girl.”
I merely giggle while slipping my arm around Brad’s waist as we walk.
“Yes, but it’s made easier by the fact that I no longer live in the dorms, and that I have access to a big house with an office, library, playroom, and of course, a handsome man who caters to all my needs.”
Brad chuckles before kissing me on the forehead.
“I certainly do, Sleeping Beauty. If you want to be woken with a kiss to your pussy, just let me know. Any time of day or night, sweetheart, and I’m happy to be at your service.”
I giggle again then, swatting at his muscular arm. After all, my life has changed so much in the two months since we discovered Pamela’s deceitfulness. For one, I don’t talk to my sister anymore. Last I heard, she went home to stay with our parents because she’d been kicked out by her roommates, on top of already losing her job. I guess she couldn’t find a new situation and last I heard, she’s staying in our childhood bedroom amid our old stuffed animals and dolls.
But I don’t feel bad for Pamela because there was no need to do what she did. She tried to explain it as a “moment of desperation” but I’m not buying it. You don’t try to steal another woman’s boyfriend under any circumstances, and especially not your twin sister’s. As a result, there’s a wall of silence between us now, and I don’t ever plan to breach it. Brad says to give our relationship time, but I don’t know. How can I look past something like this from my own sister?
Meanwhile, I’ve moved into the billionaire’s townhouse, and it’s wonderful. There’s plenty of space, and of course, Tatum and I get along like two peas in a pod. Even better, Brad and I are trying to get pregnant, which means that my to-do list is only going to get longer, and not shorter, once there’s a baby on the way.
But in the meantime, I turn to my boyfriend with a playful smile on my face.
“By the way, did I tell you what happened to my friend Tess?”
He shakes his head.
“No, I remember you said she had a shotgun wedding, but why? What happened?”
I shake my head with amazement.
“Well, she did, but now they’re divorced.”
Brad stops walking and stares at me.
“Are you serious? So she and her ex were married for all of two months?”
I nod.
“Yup. Even crazier, it turns out that her father-in-law is in prison, and she’s started visiting him there.”
Brad looks stunned.
